This was one of the most incredible meals of my life. The restaurant itself is a renovated traditional fishing shed on the harbour front with a fantastic outlook. We arrived at 8 and there was a wait for a table so we waited downstairs in the charming bar and enjoyed a lovely glass of red. It didn't take long to be seated at all and the staff were very attentive. We are the lamb carpaccio and wild goose to start which was delicious and then the langoustine for main. My friend and I shared the cream and garlic and it was the best fish I have ever eaten. Please if you visit Hofn for whatever reason make it a priority to come to Pakkhus. My only negative I have is that there is not a sister restaurant in London. Thank you!
