“Clean, Comfy, Waffles!”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

Great place to stay in Keflavik. Super clean, comfy as your own home, friendly (Magnus is very welcoming), bad with an amazing breakfast spread - waffles, jam and cream are hard to beat!

Magnus is extremely knowledgeable - any queries about your onward travels around Iceland, just ask.

The place is amazing. The staff is incredible. The area is magnificant. Nothing less. This beautiful bed and breakfast is a family-owned business which is beautifully decorated and you feel welcome at all times. The rooms are spacious and comfy and the beds are to die for. The hot tub outside is heated every night jut for you to enjoy. The staff is ready to guide you through anything you might need or even give guidance on which trips you should jump onto. It was an overall great and pleasant stay away from home:) I well surely return :)

My stay at A10 was beyond expectation. First off, on being greeted by Magnus the manager, we felt instantly Welcome and at home. The tours arranged for us were interesting and filled with nonstop adventure.

The rooms and entire place are fascinatingly decorated and exquisitely appointed. For us the beds were extremely comfortable. I know I didn't want to wake up most mornings, especially when it was time to leave. A10 is impeccably clean. Magnus, his mother and staff make sure of it. The hot tub on the beautiful outside wooden is absolutely relaxing. Try it!

Short ride from the airport. Easy to arrange visits to any local attractions. Short walk to restaurants & town. I truly didn't want to leave.

To Magnus, his mother and staff at A10, thank you for an unforgettable experience. You all truly provide a 'Home Away from Home' Can't wait to come back.

This was my first time visiting Iceland. I was a bit uncertain as what to expect but was pleasantly surprised with the service and warmth of delivery. I arrived very early in the morning from Denver, Colorado and called A10 to see if it would be okay to drop off my suitcases prior to checkin that evening. A friendly voice on the phone said that would be no problem. When I arrived I was asked by the owner if I was hungry after my transatlantic journey. A full and colorfully varied buffet was made available to me with many Icelandic delacacies including piping hot home made pancakes, pickled herring, yogurt, soft & hard cheese, raw vegetables (tomato, cucumber, and paprika), fruit (apples & oranges), various breads, butter, jam, hot chocolate, tea, along with the best and strongest coffee I’ve ever tasted. I felt I was being treated like a family member or even a celebrity and that 'mom was home'. To me this was all amazing, i.e. to be so far away from home in a foreign country and feel at home at the same time. All this and less than 10 minutes from the airport. For a modest fee they will even come and pick you up or drop you off at the airport or the nearby Blue Lagoon hot springs and all with a smile speaking perfect English. This will forever be my goto place in Iceland and next time I’ll bring my wife.

We chose to stay in Keflavik as we had an early flight to catch the morning after. Keflavik as a town is nothing special, but this B&B is a gem! The whole place was clean and in great condition. Our double room with private bathroom was tastefully decorated and comfortable - it's even equipped with a capsule coffee machine. Bathroom was clean and the shower was great. The family who runs the bnb was nice and lovely - one of the ladies went out of her way to ensure that we got some breakfast before our early departure. Our only complaint was the noise - the walls were paper thin and it didn't help that our room was right next to the public bathroom. Unfortunately there were some (rather inconsiderate) late arrivals that night who roamed the hallways and chatted loudly after midnight. We could hear everything from our room and didn't get a good night's sleep as a result. It might help if you ask for a room upstairs.

Room Tip: Stay away from the room next to public bathroom.

I didn't expect much when i ordered the room but it was pleasant surprise when we came. The room was clean and cozy, staff was really kind and it was very comfortable to stay there. I will stay there again that is for sure ... Good choice when you are travelling to Keflavík airport early.

We stayed at A10 for two nights, one at the beginning of our trip to Iceland and one at the end. A10 is very close to the airport - without feeling like one of those "airport hotels" and is very close to the Blue Lagoon. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and the whole atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is excellent and we were even given a breakfast pack for our early flight back to London. Highly recommended!
