Our family of four, including two adult children, stayed at the hotel for four nights in August 2013.We stayed in one room and felt it to be quite spacious.Rooms are well priced. The room was comfortable; great beds and bedding, fluffy towels, clean and well appointed. The in-room refrigerator and small "kitchen" were quite useful. The staff is welcoming and professional. Breakfast at an extra1700 Kr is a good value. Hotel is perfectly located in the small town. Almost worth a trip to Isafjordur just to stay at the Hotel Horn!

I guess for such a remote location one should not expect much... The room was clean and bed was comfortable. In order to get in, we had to get the key in the reception of a nearby hotel which is kind of funny. The town itself is nice, and the long road to get to Isafjordur is something I wouldn't miss.

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet and with similar view. Try to check-in early afternoon, if you get there past 19:00 (7:00PM) you will need to find key to your room in a different Hotel nearby.

We stayed two nights in the Hotel Horn after an unpleasant night in a local guesthouse . The Horn is a nice, modern, spacious boutique hotel with a reasonable cost. The location is central to everything. You can park your car there and walk anywhere in town. The rooms are reasonable in size, the bathrooms are sleek and modern, everything works well. There is a large sitting area with internet access and a small play area for kids. We liked the décor and especially the large, vintage local photos that are hung throughout. Accommodation in Isafjordur is fairly expensive, we thought Hotel Horn was good value. We would recommend it to anyone.

Hotel Horn is a very recently renovated chic hotel in the centre of Isafjordur. Wonderful old and new Icelandic designs mixed with Eames and other world famous designs. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are great with lovely clean linen, duvets and pillows. We stayed in the family room and the kids loved the bunk bed. All rooms have a tv and a kettle. Very nice and cosy to come to this hotel after a long day walking in Hornstrandir. An excellent breakfast and lovely staff. My friend and I, traveling with 3 kids, were very impressed and I will absolutely stay at Hotel Horn again.

I am so pleased that I got a chance to stay at Hotel Horn. The concierge and staff were welcoming and attentive to all guests. The rooms and decor were chic, modern and very comforting and had all the necessities and then some (towel warmers, super plush pillows!). As the hotel is brand new, I also have to rave about the cleanliness! While Isafjordur may be small, you cannot ask for a better location - right in the center of town, near all the shops and restaurants. Hotel Horn was a quaint and quiet retreat for me, and for the price, it gets my stamp of approval!
