This is THE landmark of Reykjavik (along with the church). We visited it once early in the morning and once late at night (well, you know what I mean - 11pm - and it was still broad daylight) so the lighting was completely different. It is cleancut and simple in form. A good photo opportunity though you may have to wait for tourists acting the fool in front of it to clear away.
