“Free for a photo”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Nice statue that's free to go and take a photo of. Stroll along from the concert hall along the seafront and you'll find it.

“It's so stark it's beautiful”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

Just the "bones" of the ship sitting there by the sea. It's really eye-catching and you just want to sit and enjoy it. That's difficult, as there is always someone nearby who wants their photo taken, but you deal with it. We saw it in the evening; I'll bet it's stunning in the morning. A cool photo op, and nice to just sit and enjoy the scenery around it.

“Sun voyager at midnight.”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

We walked to the sun voyager at midnight. Easy to find in the harbour area. Was light enough for flash free photography!

“We came we took a picture we left. ”
Reviewed 28 July 2014 via mobile

A really unique sculpture, we happened upon it while walking into Reykjavik. (Twice) as it's right on the coast line and luckily just as 3 tourist buses were leaving so we ended up with a nice photo or two, but not much else to see near it. No need to plan to go there, it's near Harpa and downtown, you'll probably end up there anyway.

“It's a metal sculpture.”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

That's it. If there is no sunset, it's not worth a detour.
The viking boat metal sculpture is nice, but a 5 minute walk from everything else.
