Small exhibit but glad we went. There was no charge for seniors (67 or older). Room was a bit dark so watch your steps.

Very nice re-build of a locally excavated long house with interior complete. Plus they use graphics computers to fill in the picture to show an accurate representation of where settlers lived once they arrived and set up shop. Fascinating!

Informative. New. Good for 10 years and up. Explains how acivilization was carved out of a difficult place.

We had an hour here. We could have spent a little more time. My 9 year old enjoyed the area to play games and dress up like a Viking. From here, head over to the stacking rocks by the concert hall.
