“Great Sculptural Work”
Reviewed 21 July 2013

The Einar Jonsson is located immediately across the street from Hallsgrimskirkja, but does not get the attention of the church. That's a shame. The gardens are amazing and totally free -- and they offer an insight into the work inside the museum. It is a great stop that should not be missed.

A lovely small garden filled with exceptional sculptures. Well worth a visit, or just a quiet time to yourself.

“If you like sculpture, then this is the place for you.”
Reviewed 17 July 2013

I only had a morning so could not go in the museum, which did not open until 14.00. However access to the sculpture garden is free and amazing. It is so lose to the cathedral, yet very. Few tourists visit.

“Unique Experience”
Reviewed 2 July 2013

I love art and am so glad we went to this museum. This artist really is different then anything I have seen and it was an experience to savor his sensibility. I have seen alot of art and felt he really created a unique vocabulary.

“Epic Art Deco Sculpture”
Reviewed 28 May 2013

Epic Saga Bronze works. Surreal Garden with massive works. Inside is where the more protected treasures lay in wait. Right beside Hallgrimskirkja. A truly Icelandic collection.
