Staying at Reykjavik Treasure was an enjoyable experience - great central location. We were able to walk almost everywhere. The rooms are tidy and clean. We were made to feel very welcomed by Sigfridur. The breakfast options were also very good. Definitely would stay here again.

Our first trip to Reykjavik and we stayed here for 3 nights. The B&B is in a lovely character dwelling and extremely homely yet stylish. We stayed in an attic room with a double bed. The room was small but perfectly adequate. There wasn't a wardrobe but there is a hanging rail. A hook on the back of the door would have provided some extra storage but this is a minor point. The bathroom was very quirky - I loved the vintage mirror! Tall people may find they have to duck in the bathroom a little but it all adds to the charm! There is a lovely kitchen where you can make your own drinks and a lounge to relax in in the evenings.

Breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate - cereal, toast with honey, jam, nutella, ham or cheese, boiled eggs, tea, coffee and orange juice.

Tip: The B&B is small and not known by the tour companies it seems. It was recommended that we get picked up for trips around the corner at the Plaza hotel - a 2 min walk which was fine.

The location of the B&B was perfect. Very quiet at night but close enough to the bars and restaurants. A lovely antiques / vintage shop just around the corner too!

Just one negative point - the rooms were not serviced during our stay. That wasn't really a problem as we didn't make much mess but a little unexpected.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms in the house are about the same size. There is more room in the basement apart...

We stayed two nights in this B&B and it was lovely! the location couldn't be any more central, the host Sunna was lovely and informative and the rooms were well equipped and comfortable. There is also a car park near by which is very convenient - and cheap! We really had a lovely time in this homely charming B&B and highly recommend!

So so glad we decided to cancel our hotel in Keflavik for this homely B&B which couldn't be better placed in Central Reykjavik. Was easy to find after studying street view before going, literally a minutes walk from lots of great restaurants and coffee houses. There is an underground car park across the street which is so cheap compared to everything else in Iceland, it does close at midnight though. The landlady, we called momma b'n'b, was very welcoming and chatty, as was her daughter and a friend who was running the house for the weekend. Lots of interesting and helpful chats and we even inspired them to the joys of do-it-yourself budget travelling! The whole atmosphere was warm and relaxing, our room, top of the stairs to the left, was small but perfect. We loved the quirky bathroom which was cleverly squeezed into an impossible shaped room. Lots of exposed stone and timber, a very comfortable bed and very effective heating. You might get woken up by northern light hunters trying to creep in during the early hours and hear the odd reveller heading home, but for a capital city, it's so quiet! Oh, don't be surprised to see an aeroplane or two skim over the roof headed for the runway close by, but the airport must close early as we don't remember hearing them too late. Breakfast is a simple affair, coffee, juice and toast with selection of jams etc or cold meat and cheese, just right for us and very romantic with candles and lanterns in the windows, nice to chat and plan the day with tips and pointers from the owners. Can't fault this lovely B&B at all, well priced and a definite for our return trip next year. Loved it!

This is a fabulous B&B in a great location close to the old town bars & restaurants. There is a parking across the street which is both safe & cheap to park any car. The house is a delight and has such a homely feel and Sigfridur is such an easy going host. I can heartily recommend staying here.

We stayed in the basement apartment for 2 nights in June 2013 and were very pleased. The apartment has a kitchenette, a seating area that turns into 2 single beds, a dining area and a double bedroom. The apartment is very clean and furnished well. It has a small back yard to sit outside. The main house is beautiful where you can enjoy a fantastic breakfast in a lovely setting. The host is very friendly and can advise about things happening in the City. The house and apartment have free Wi-Fi, but no TV or radio in the apartment. The location is perfect for the best restaurants and the harbour. I can highly recommend this B&B.
