We popped down here to see the shops on the lower levels and to have a waring cup of tea! Outside they had an ice sculpture of Iceland. Worth the walk down to see the view and try out a warming cup of something

As we had rented car, we drive to see also County hall, It was completely waste of time. If you have it your travel list, you should cross out it.

This modern building created a buzz when on construction as the locals said it would spoil the whole scenery. But no, It's one of those cases where everyone changes its mind and learn to love it. It sure adds extra charm to the pond area and you must go inside to find a 3D map of Iceland, it's so coll! Well worth a visit.

We did not go inside but the setting is nice and it is a nice place to come and relax, take in the sunset and feed the ducks, swans and geese. We were there in February so a lot was frozen so was a nice setting. We saw a juvenile gyrfalcon (worlds largest falcon) sat on the roof which was cool.

Reyjkavik is really a very small town with not that much to see. A day is sufficient. The city hall is charming and sits on a lovely pond with lots of ducks and swans that you can feed. Highly Recommended- even in cold September
