We were here during a World Cup match so things might be a little different during normal times. We got there just in time to get a table. About 5 minutes after we arrived, people were just setting up chairs where ever they could see the TVs. There wasn't any table service going on, but the staff was serving drinks really quickly.

We visited this place more than once. It is a nice clean bar with a large table up front. We like bars with big tables as they present opportunities to meet a lot of different people from different places. Ask the bar tender what the special is and depending on the time of day you might get 2 beers for the price of one. If you have ever been to Iceland and know how extremely expensive everything is you know why I mention this. We were there during the world cup so we met people from the US and Japan. One night we met a group of very friendly locals. This bar was about half a block off from one of the main streets. If you are in Reykjavik go find it.

We stumbled across this bar while in Reykjavik, the drinks were good value (especially happy hour), the pizza was great served up quickly and of good quality, we were made to feel very welcome by the lady owner and her staff, we were able to pick our own music or watch the World Cup on the big screen, they also have a "spin the wheel" game (like a lot of bars in Reykjavik) which we seemed to enjoy a lot of free beers from! When I return to Reykjavik I will definitely be going back!

We didn't eat here but we did enjoy a few pints of Guinness, the staff were very friendly. The football was on the TV, but there were also quiet alcoves too sit and avoid the game

The bar manager is wonderful......she pours a mean glass of Guinness and is very personable and has lots of local information to pass along to visitors. Weekend can be a body slam so watch out for Ali the tiny dog! Downstairs is a nice place to hang as well
