This place is in the forefront of only a handful of sushi places in Iceland that do the rice perfect! Siggi San studied with a japanese sushi chef in Copenhagen and holds on to the traditional way of making great sushi. Surely he chars salmon and adds a few drops of teriaky but he doesn't "go all american" with "mad toppings" on this favorite food of mine. I really love sushi. I Especially love it here.
I have both ordered for parties and just to grab home and surprise my wife and kids.
They make salmon nigiri without wasabi upon request - a favorite for both my kids, 4 and 7yo.
I have read that the Japanese embassy in Iceland get their sushi from here. No wonder.
