“Fantastic Record Store”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

A great place to find independent Icelandic artist recordings. Shop is cool to visit simply from a cultural/musical standpoint as this is a meeting point for musicians such as Björk, Sigur Rós, múm, and others.

“Sit back and let the music move you ...”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

Awesome music store! You can sit and listen to the tracks of a cd, while having a free coffee. All around the shop there are cd-players placed to test your cd and listen to the music. A fun way of discovering Icelandic music. The staff is also very helpful when you are looking for a particular cd, you couldn't find on your own.

“Awesome record store”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

This place is very welcoming and the staff are really friendly and they even offer you coffee while you listen to tunes. I ended up staying for over 2 hours listening to all kinds of styles of music including Icelandic reggae! Only thing is the CD's are a little pricey but what's really nice is that the money goes to supporting (often) grassroots bands. :)

“A very nice experience”
Reviewed 6 August 2014 via mobile

Get in, sift through the huge selection of Icelandic music, take a CD (or a pile), take a seat on one if the sofa's, enjoy a free coffee, listen to the music, discuss it with the shop-owner, get downstairs, meet people from the Icelandic music scene, buy whatever you like, have fun.

“Best music store in Iceland”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

They even order for you specifically - for music lovers this is a gourmet shop. Both in Harpa (more classical music) and on Skolavordustigur. At the latter location you have the option of listening to your music and have a cup of coffee...
