Description: GOTT is a healthy, creative family owned restaurant in Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland with fresh, authentic ingredients. The restaurant makes its breads freshly every day and all food is made from scratch every day. Fresh fish from the fish marked. The head chef and owner Sigurdur Gislason a former member of the Icelandic culinary team and his wife Berglind Sigmarsdottir have published two best seller cook books in Iceland.

A well implemented casual eatery. Was really crowded on our dinner visit, which likely speaks both for the popularity, prices, and small space. All our food was quite good. Presentation slightly nuanced as typical for small family run restaurants. The reason for the 4 and not 5 score, was that the service was really spotty. Maybe a staff member or two did not show that night. Prices relatively reasonable for Iceland. Good place for families with young teens or kids. The pictures on their website look far nicer than the actual interior, but I suppose that can be said for most restaurants around the world.

After eating lots of rich and carb-heavy food throughout Iceland, it was so refreshing to find this healthy little eatery. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. It reminded me of the fresh local food I'm used to eating at home, but it was also distinctly Icelandic.

My husband and I tried a wrap, a burger, and some juice. Everything tasted delicious, interesting, and full of goodness.

Good local food. Cozy little place. We had the fish of the day and it was prepared very nicely. Desserts looked great althought we skipped them.

We wanted some nice food and chose this small cafe-like restaurant. It's food is fresh, healthy food and it tastes good. Me and my friend both got the spicy chicken burger with a baked sweet potato and salad. The spice on the chicken burger was perfect! Only downside was the salad that was plain salad and nothing else. Could have had some nuts, tomatoes or something to spice it up a little! People and atmosphere great.
