My parents and myself stayed here one night in a 2 bedroom unit, as it was close to my sister's flat (which wasn't big enough to accommodate us). When we first arrived, it was a Saturday & the reception was closed, but we managed to locate keys to the room in a little mailbox out the front (poor security really!). The key to the front door took a fair bit of effort to get the door open. When we entered the unit, we discovered one of the bedrooms (the one with 2 single beds in it) had been locked by the staff & we were unable to gain access. The reception was closed so we tried calling the emergency contact mobile number printed on a contact list on the fridge, only to reach a man who had no idea who we were & had never even heard of the hotel. I ended up having to sleep on the (very small & uncomfortable) couch. The facilities were very outdated, from the 70s/80s at least, if not older, and the only mirror was dirty & small in the bathroom. The TV reception was horrible too, we could only watch 1 channel clearly. On checkout, the staff in the reception admitted to their mistake of locking the bedroom door & apologised, and refunded us the difference between the cost of a 2 bedroom unit, & a 1 bedroom unit, but by then it was too little too late. What we were charged was overpriced to say the least. Needless to say, we did not stay for breakfast. We will NEVER be returning. We would have been better off in a caravan park or sleeping on a mattress on the floor.
