We want to sing the praises of this exceptional place. We arrived late at night and had the most welcoming reception when we arrived, with drinks and refreshments on arrival. Our villa was beautiful and a private pool with the most splendid views. We stayed for 3 nights (definitely not long enough) and every moment has left us with very special memories of Samsara. Our village walk with Nuh Kasava, Villa Experience Manager was a highlight and we will never forget our walk with this lovely kind and very informative gentleman, thank you. The food was had here was exceptional fantastic too. All the staff here are exceptional with the care and consideration they have to make sure all their guests have the most wonderful stay, as you may realise we cannot sing their praises highly enough, everyone should have at least one visit to this amazing place. When we checked out Yana was so lovely and we felt sad to leave there, we will return 😃 Thank you all 😘 Sue and Alan (stay 12 to 15/09/19).

Beautiful hotel located about 30 minutes from Ubud town centre and about an hour and a half (in light traffic) from Denpasar Airport. Really not much I can fault with the hotel - beautiful secluded location in the middle of the jungle. Rooms are clean and spacious, share pool and private pools are heated, romantic movie area, nice and simple breakfast menu that is executed very well (not buffet). You also have the choice of ordering the “floating breakfast” for an extra 600k - cute touch - but it’s exactly the same breakfast menu just FYI.

Also, the whole resort has a relaxing aroma (I think from the mosquito repellent incense) - we slept with the pool door completely open and not one mosquito bite!!

The staff service is exceptional. They all take the time to introduce themselves and learn your names, they communicate with each other, so your requests, schedule, likes/dislike is always considered and noted among all staff (I found this amazing - we made a side comment to our waiter Ari about wanting to catch the hotel shuttle to Ubud town centre and later went to book but were told it had already been done!!)

Staff also work with no ulterior motives - their attitude is genuine and polite, working to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

I honestly am so disappointed with people complaining that “it’s far and the roads are bumpy” - mind you has its truth - but please find something constructive to say if you are going to criticise.

Would definitely recommend the Samsara without reservation.

This place is amazing, me and my husband stayed for 3 days .. we enjoyed every moment there , the hospitality, Food , Spa all was fantastic.. we get the villa with a direct view to the forest which is a breathtaking view ..

And off course we loved the floating breakfast ..
They had moonlight cinema night (love it )
Every single employee there were so nice and helpful and always for u if u need anything and our butler was so great and nice ..
The place is relaxing and romantic..
And for me i will come again..
