“Excellent lunch as usual”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

Went for a family Sunday lunch the weekend and as usual the food was lovely. Not the cheapest you can find in our area, but the quality is well worth the little extra. We have eaten here for both lunch and evenings for several years and have never been disappointed.

“Fab food, fab friendly service”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

Visited The Wheatsheaf as it was a teenage haunt back in the 70s!
Whilst having added a delightful restaurant area, the pub has retained its warmth and charm.
We had a lovely lively, efficient, and welcoming waitress Rosie who was an absolute delight.
Our meals were very good and included beef stroganoff, lamb rump, and fish and chips. We also found room for crime brûlée. There was a good menu selection together with a specials board.
Having now experienced the food here we will definitely return for more food and not just beers.

“Good food, excellent service and good ambience”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

My daughter and partner invited us to dinner at The Wheatsheaf in Titchfield. We had never been before.

What looks like a small locals pub has a bright restaurant behind.

Service was excellent from a cheery, talkative young lady who went out of her way to help.

The food was good with very large portions.

Would definitely visit again.

“Great place for a relaxed lunch”
Reviewed 15 June 2014 via mobile

I visited this pub with friends for lunch and thought it was very nice. Though the choice of larger is limited we all got a drink to sit out in their garden. Good size place and large range of food on the menu

We chose from the bar menu and had 3 small dishes per couple which you got for £10. Lots to choose from and was a fair size to share between 2.

Will go again and may try the beer and Sausage festival late July!

“A proper pub with great food”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

Have often visited the Pub, which has long been a favourite haunt with it's cosy bar and real log fires in winter with good selection of Real Ales.

Recently had Sunday lunch with friends and was pleasantly surprised. The rear restaurant area is stylish and contemporary but in keeping with the older surroundings. The food was very good and service was friendly and attentive.

Nice to see a traditional pub which combines an authentic pub atmosphere with excellent food in a separate yet welcoming environment.
