I'm always suspicious of "award winning" places. Either the quality goes downhill, the prices go up, or both. We were staying at Tudor Arms' Lodge, their B&B next door and the pub is the only eatery in the area but we were pleasantly surprised. The food is simple, but good quality, pub food served with some excellent beers (not surprising given its CAMRA accolades) and there is a good friendly 'local' buzz about the place which is so rare these days. We'll be back
