“What a surprise!”
Reviewed 13 October 2013

We needed accommodation in the Newport/Williamstown area when attending an engagement party there so Googled accommodation for that area. Up came Millers Inn so we thought we would give it a try rather than spend at least $200 per night for accommodation in Melbourne CBD. It was a pleasant surprise with comfortable motel style accommodation, surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night and great value at only $120 per night including a continental breakfast. It would be feasible to stay here for an early flight out of Tullamarine as it is only 20 minutes to the airport outside peak traffic times. We did not eat a main meal here but had dessert after our party which was chosen from a large selection, was delicious and good value. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Had 2 nights here - first night in 2 twin rooms - very nicely laid out room to move, continental brekky included. Second night transferred over to Family suite - a twin room, Queen room, Lounge room all with large TVs. Huge Bathroom. Very well appointed decor and comfortable.
It was great to be able to park the trucks in a large car park, wind down and enjoy a really great meal in the restaurant down stairs. Different Specials each night and very reasonable.
The Reception Staff were more than helpfull, showing us to the rooms and giving directions for the next day.
Won't look any further when next in the area.

Room Tip: If you need to keep an eye on the car stay in the back rooms. Family room with lounge room is a win...

Just needing a one night stopover after a long drive, great parking available meals were excellent restaurant was very busy fully booked, rooms were excellent very clean and modern continental breakfast was supplied which was a surprise only downfall was that the cleaners come in after bar closes and noise of vacuum over the tiles kept me awake for hours. But overall enjoyed the experience

We were looking for a room for a family of four on this side of Melbourne. Not easy to find many options but plumped for the Miller's inn and so glad we did. Easy to find, lots of free parking in front and met by very friendly staff (residential entrance by the bistro door) . Noticed how busy the bistro was with most tables pre booked for Saturday night (a good sign) but the hostess still managed to find us a table. More of this later. We were shown upstairs to our family room. Wow! Two separate bedrooms, one with twin beds for the kids and a separate double for the wife and I. Heaters/AC in both. Large bathroom and lounge. Kitchen area with good selection of food for breakfast. Large flat screen tv's in both bedrooms and lounge. We were able to use the adjacent laundry for free then headed down for food. The bistro was busy. Already half full with locals but a good atmosphere. Bar and bistro staff very friendly. Great choice of food at good prices. All freshly cooked and really good. Headed back to our room afterwards for a sound nights sleep. No noise from pub or road. Really pleased with our night's stay, the amenities and food offered and the service provided. All at a great price too. Fabulous and all the more so for being unexpected. Don't judge a book by its cover!

Booked this hotel for proximity to a music festival and wasn't expecting too much. The public bar was fantastic, really friendly staff and great, cheap meals. The hotel room itself was clean and really comfortable. There was cereal and toast in the room for breakfast. The air conditioner was a god send and worked brilliantly. Plenty of towels and clean bedding too. A basic and friendly hotel that I would stay at again if the occasion arose. Only criticism is it is tiny bit too expensive for a three star? Thank you so much for a great stay!

Had a business meal recently and the meals were quick, hot, big and tasty. Chefs cook and serve the meals through a hatchway, calling out your number, and it is a busy family orientated restaurant. Lots of choice and daily specials and pensioner roasts.
Lotd of parking too.
