The basic rooms here are reasonable for what one pays for it. They're large and well reasonably appointed. Some rooms have only a small window looking into an internal wall, but at least there is some light to help orient you.

It's well located, within walking distance of central Victoria and the main bus terminal. There is plenty of free parking if you have hired a car.

Breakfast is OK - nothing special, but good quality produce is used.

The only real negative is the very short and limited opening hours on the pool - not a huge issue in Gozo since the beach isn't far away, but it may be important to some.

Check in and check out was no fuss and we didn't have any complaints. We would happily stay here again.

This is a well priced comfortable hotel. Friendly competent staff, and the restuarant serves some supprisingly good food. However be aware that if you are not young and sprightly or have a car, then the walk up the hill to the centre of Victoria is taxing to say the least.

I don't usually like to stay in a hotel that has less than 4 stars but everyone said that this hotel was good so we decided to try it and i'm glad we did. One may not feel as pampered as when staying in a 4 or 5 star but you do have some comforts of a 4 star. The A/c was very good in every part of the hotel and it's adjusted from each room. There is also free WIFI in all rooms and a lovely little pool on the roof. My daughter also enjoyed the lovely children's play area and there is also a nice coffee shop with some lovely cakes. Breakfast was also good and the hotel is very clean.

We chose the unfortunately-named Downtown hotel as it seemed to be almost the only choice close to the centre of Victoria. But despite the website pictures, and the dreary first impression, it’s really better than just an OK place to stay. The town centre with its rather few restaurants is about a ten minute walk, and there is a really nice, if slightly fancy place (Patrick’s) to eat a little way from the hotel on the right as you head out of town.

This is a straightforward and unfussy business hotel – decent rooms, quiet, and everything worked; ideal as a holiday base for a couple of nights in Victoria, but in no way a destination or experience in itself. Rooms were fine, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast (standard fare, and included in our very low room-rate) unexceptional but adequate.

Have stayed a couple of times, just an 'Ok hotel', for the room and to sleep, would not like to spend a holiday there.
Good breakfast
