“A shop”
Reviewed 21 May 2014

I was disappointed, maybe the high rate from the reviewers, maybe I wasn't in the mood for shopping, but I felt it simply like a shop, no offence for the craft side. We were there some minutes, no more as there is so much better things to do in Mdina

“Learning experience”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

What a neat experience to watch glass items being made right in front of you. The men in the shop seemed unfazed by our presence and worked intently to create their beautiful works of art. The shop is extensive, however a bit expensive for my pocketbook. Beautiful and unusual peices of vibrant colors and shapes. Truly a treat for the eyes!

“buy the jewellery there”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

If you like the old fashioned glass bead necklaces, bracelets and earrings they have on sale at the shop, then buy them when you're there. You can't find them anywhere else: not in the tourist shops and not online. I'm so glad I bought a necklace and a pair of earrings. Now I sort of wish I had more to give away as gifts, but they're not available on the website.

“A must on your trip”
Reviewed 27 April 2014

We found it on the internet, I had been before about 18 years ago but could not remember where it was. It has now grown into quite a setup with around 12 different craft stores in the same location with two points of entry from the road, one to the craft market or one next to it into Mdina Glass. Both have interlinking paths and makes for a good 3-4 hour excursion with a cafeteria on site and great views of Mdina town on the hill. You will find a lot of 2nds for sale in their shop at half price and also perfect examples of what they make but, nothing is better then watching them make it. Because of the craft market it a worthwhile trip. Glass prices at the factory are about the same as most of the other stores that I called in.
