We stayed at the Victoria Hotel for 3 nights and we loved it. Its in a great location. You might not think so when you first arrive but once you walk around you will work out that everything is actually nice and close. Sliema front is about a 5 minute walk away and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. You can also find little convenient stores and pharmacies near by.
The hotel has a beautiful view overlooking Malta from the roof top infinity pool but if its too cold there is plenty of chairs around the indoor pool. When we stayed the Steam Room and 1 sauna wasn't working but they do have the facilities there. There is also a complete gym.
The staff were all great and very professional.
If you are looking to get around Malta we found the cheapest way to do so from the hotel is by catching the local bus. For 2.60euro per person you can get on the bus as many times as you like throughout the day. We went to St Julians & to Valletta a few times and it didn't cost more than the 2.60euro.
They do offer a hot & cold buffet breakfast and there is a mini bar in the room.More
