Hotel was adequate and I wouldn't not recommend but it is in need of a bit of tlc. Everything is just a bit tired but having said that the staff were great nothing too much trouble for them. The location is very central and easy to get around on the buses. About 15 minutes from airport by car.

This was booked as part of a package. The entrance lobby was pleasantly cool and chars and tables adequate. The reception staff pleasant we got into our room even though it was hours before we should have(1400 hrs) The lifts are a bit of a lottery they go where they want to and worse when busy! Our room was on second floor so used stairs sometimes. The room was dated but cleaned every day and linen changed too. The pillows were just bags of foam chips but found 2 proper ones in wardrobe. Small TV but only get BBC choice so nothing to watch there then! Small fridge, big enough for 2l water bottle wine milk etc. Had our own teabags, had to buy fresh milk as powdered was supplied.air con worked well. beds good but 2 singles on wheels so gap appeared between sometimes. Balcony small but room for two and little table there. Handy for a smoke! View of the Flats across the road but hotel is up a side street so none have proper sea views. Breakfast was chaotic as most of the guests seem to think the food may run out in five minutes! Food nice plenty of cheese, ham, fruit etc tea and coffee fine, cooked breakfast good even the scrambled egg. The queue for the toaster a bit frantic sometimes! Did not eat here at other times. Nothing on in the Lounge bar in evenings. Went to the Preluna up the road a bit, 13th floor lounge bar +entertainment! They were actually painting a bit while we were there. Had broken plug on TV, replaced. Cracked floor tile not replaced. Loo brush disgusting, (but reported) but bathroom and shower ok. Noisy at night as road works had left a trench at the end of road covered with a steel sheet! I would say a good 3 star in our experience.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days in September. We booked the hotel based on its 4 star rating and good value. Our overall experience was good, rooms were clean, air conditioning worked and the breakfast choice was also good. I would say that the hotel does need some general improvements which I will list, they didn’t bother us too much but I know some of these points did bother other guests.
We stayed in room 530, entry into the room was by a normal key, had to twist hard to the left to open which we figured out after a minute of trying. Our initial thoughts were that the room was slightly dated but clean, our bed was two large singles put together but had large sheets covering it both to make one bed. Comfortable as long as you didn’t sleep directly in the middle. The curtains were black out and worked very well, the runners were very stiff so opening them was difficult. Our balcony was a side facing balcony onto the sea, enough space for one chair and maximum of two people. The door shut but didn’t lock. This didn’t bother us as we were on the fifth floor but may have bothered others for security reasons. The bathroom was clean and the shower was powerful, the toilet needed several flush attempts before working. The t.v was an old rear projector type which sat on the table, very small but worked and we also had a small fridge. The lifts were interesting. You could be going up and down the lift as and when guests on each floor pushed the call button. Didn’t mind picking people up on the way down but one day we started on the fifth, went down to the third, up to the sixth and then down to the ground floor. They worked fine when it was quiet.
The pool area on the terrace was great, deck chairs had very good covers if you didn’t want to sit in the sun and the pool was a good size. The shower didn’t work very well and the toilets took at least 10 minutes to refill after flushing which was an issue when it was a little busy but there were other toilets you could use.
Staff were polite but I did speak to guests who said they were very rude after complaining about something in their room. I can’t comment on other areas of the hotel as we didn’t use them.
Overall a good experience, is it a 4* hotel, maybe be with some improvements, would I come again, properly not.

I just got back from this hotel after spending 5 days here. I didn't expect a lot as the hotels in Malta are very average. The location is good as its just around the corner from the promenade and also shops and restaurants.it is a very basic hotel and the rooms are modern, but the bed is very hard .when arriving at the hotel round about 4pm we had to wait a while as the room was not clean yet, when receiving the keys we walked into a room which was actually someone else's and we got given the wrong keys which I was very shocked by .This hotel is ok if your not wanting anything special .

Hotel located a block from the ocean promenade where you can take either the sightseeing bus and the regular ones. Many restaurants closeby.
It's location at Sliema is convenient since St. Julian, Valetta and other nice places in Malta are not that far.
I consider the lobby has to be redecorated. A minimalist aspect would make it much attractive.
The room we had was ok, a balcony with a partial ocean view and the bathroom was good.
Watch out with the room they assign you. You may find some with a non deserved vacation view

Room Tip: Rooms with full or partial room. Watch out with the winds.

By no means the worst place we've ever stayed. The bed was incredibly hard, but they did try to soften it for us by using extra blankets. Our room and bathroom was clean, which might be because we ALWAYS leave a tip on the pillow every morning to show our appreciation, but maybe we were lucky... And the AC worked perfectly!!! The breakfast was rather awful, but we bought espressos to make up for the deficiency, and I am very picky... The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location for local buses.

We booked this hotel in a package deal, so with little info on it in advance. Very dissapointing. Seems like it was a 4star maybe 30 years ago and did not receive a single bit of maintenance since. Old rooms with crooked furniture, bad closing door and not flushing toilet. The breakfast was horrible and indeed as mentioned below, we brought our own juice as theirs was undrinkable. Balcony on ugly appartment building wirh noisy machines, bad quality airco that forced you to sleep with the door open...

Cleaning crew did not change the sheets once during our 8 night stay, even after repeated asking. Sheets were too short ans old and torn, I ended up making the beds myself by making knots on the corners, otherwise you would wake up on the mattrass. Cleaning crew opened our door 3 times in the morning, even if the do not disturb sign wad on the door! Not bad will, just plain incompetence. Only thing shw did was change our towels, even though we indicated we'd re-use them.

Overall a very poor performance and had a bad effect on our holiday.
