Reviews for this hotel were not promising but we were surprised at the good level of service - friendly and efficient at all times of day and night - and cleanliness, both of which had been criticised. We found nothing to criticise and much to commend. The hotel is basic - rooms are not big but they are quite sufficient for most needs and are cleaned daily. The view is not of the sea unless you pay extra but this is clearly specified in the hotel details online. It is ideally situated for Sliema and near to bus stops for travelling to Valletta or other parts of the island. The breakfast is basic and in a sparse room but it is also varied and not expensive. We were very pleased with our accommodation and would stay there again.

Room tip: Pay more for a sea view

The Hotel is on Tower Road, on the seafront of Sliema. Perfect location to travel in the different parts of the island. Rooms are cleaned and towels are changed on a daily basis. Breakfast is more than decent (it was included in our stay, otherwise is 6 euros each day). Staff was very gentle and helpful.

Room tip: Rooms on 1st floor don't have air conditioning, only a big fan.

Stayed in a 3-bed room and was quite surprised because some of the reviews that i read were quite negative. The bathroom was decent and the housekeeping cleans everyday which i really appreciate. This hotel is budget friendly & the location is their #1 asset and 2nd comes the staff - Raphael, Eva & Lluis. They were very helpful & very accommodating. Don't expect to have a fridge or a kettle inside the room. As the other reviews mentioned, you get what you pay for. I am quite happy with my stay in this hotel and will definitely go back especially if I'm on a budget trip. And also, the AC in the room turns off every 3 hrs. Just FYI. I'm giving this review 3/5 and not a perfect rating just because of the tiny flaws but if you are not that picky then this is the hotel for you.

We stayed here for 12 days in July 2018.You get what you pay for. We were more than happy - had a balcony room and the view is stunning. We bought a small travel kettle - plenty of power points, safe in room, air con great. Room was cleaned and made up daily. After reading reviews we were worried about staying but front desk receptionists were lovely and helpful - particularly the Spanish crew xx Location is amazing - near bus stops and eating places and opposite the water great for swimming. To get around having no fridge - went to Scotts Supermarket asked for foam esky and bought a bag of ice each day! Cold drinks on tap plus milk and yoghurt for brekky. Would recommend this place for an inexpensive no frills stay.
