“Unusual but excellent pizza.”
Reviewed 26 December 2013

Amigos pizza has a very distinctive taste. Difficult to describe but I recommend it! It is a nice and quick place for a meal, nothing fancy but the staff is friendly and the service is quick.

“I can't wash the rancid taste from my mouth fast enough. ”
Reviewed 14 November 2013 via mobile

We were excited to try Mexican food in Sliema. This is not a Mexican restaurant. Its a pizza restaurant pretending to be a Mexican restaurant. We ordered the "chefs special" spicy pork Taco. The tortillas are actually pizza crusts. The spicy pork is actually maltese sausage. There was no salsa. Menu said it comes with mushrooms and there were none. Said coriander and there was none. There was nothing in what supposed to be fajitas except sick maltese sausage, tons of raw onion, and green peppers. The whole thing was bathing in an inch of oil. Menu said tomatoes and rucola and there was none of that. There was a terrible Cup of cheap iceberg lettuce salad. Sour cream was some vile mayo sauce. I can't wash the smell from my hands and brush the putrid taste out of my mouth. I can't vouch for the pizza but avoid the Mexican at all costs.

“Nice food with top service”
Reviewed 9 October 2013

Went to Amigo's yesterday evening, good location but may be difficult to find. Walked in and as it was quite empty sat down anywhere we wanted.

Service was brilliant throughout the meal, all the staff were lovely even if the English wasnt brilliant, they were all so friendly and helpful and genuinely nice.

Ordered the food and didnt have to wait too long

Starter had garlic bread, even if it did get served slightly burnt was so nice and cheese. Also had nanchos, massive portion, could have been warmer but again was nice and tasty,

Main course had pizza, was nice and crispy, my friend had a pizza and he loved it, my tuna one was okay.

Desert had peanut butter chocolate cake, was very nice.

Atmosphere was nice, only reasons not voted 5 stars as it was very warm in there also the burnt garlic bread but would definitely recommend and go again. Good prices and big portions

“Best/worst experience”
Reviewed 1 October 2013 via mobile

Been waiting to go there for so long since in malta there aren't so many places with mexican food that are famous. Therefor the food was as amazing as expected with its franchise; the only one thing was that there were like 2 tables full ours inculeded and to get the servers' attention was very hard ending up going to the cashier to get some help. This was done troughout our meal leaving us with no one to enjoy our stay. If the service will improve it would leave a much better experience for a client to enjoy
