I've stayed 40+ nights here this year; business and a bit of pleasure. I love the Palace. And yes, while there are always niggles where ever you stay like the poor wifi and temperamental Aircon. It's great.

I would suggest and no matter how many times I request it (they need a better database to track this) I always seem to get allocated a room overlooking the church and the dreaded BELLs!!!. That said, as I check in I ask to move and they always make a plan.

The staff are great and always give me a friendly welcome back. The rooms are spacious and beds are great... try getting one with super king they're great.

The food is good; breakfast and dinners downstairs, although I'd recommend TemptAsia (on the roof) great food and the best views on the Island.

Like I say, it's home from home for me and always makes my trips to Malta that much more enjoyable.

My wife and I just celebrated our marriage in the roof restaurant, called Temptasian at this hotel. We had been already to this restaurant and we could already tell from the excellent service that this was a special venue. The staff has been instrumental in transforming Temptasian into one of the most chic and stunning places to host a wedding and the events coordinator, Sylvain Azzoppardi has been very supportive of our ideas and extremely helpful.

During the reception, our guests never stopped complimenting us on the choice of the venue and on how excellent everything was; the food, the beverages and the service. The only bad thing about our reception was that it ended too quickly and if we could do it all again, we wouldn't change a thing! As if that wasn't enough, we were treated like royalty in the Music Suite, themed around the timeless legendary musical artists like Jimi Hendrix and highly sought after by many aspiring artists.

The Palace Hotel has just made it to the top of the list and in my opinion it should be used as a benchmark for other hotels. I would highly recommend this hotel and its friendly staff without hesitation.

Room Tip: The Palace also caters for guests who have mobility problems. All you must do is inform the staff an...

We just celebrated the most wonderful Wedding Event that we can experience. The celebration took place at the Temptation Restaurant at the Palace Hotel. The 360 degree view was wonderful, the service was given with a smile throughout the duration of the event and the food was gorgeous and everything was tagged. We would like to say a big thank you to all the staff that were present during the preparation time, the events office and also during the event itself. The atmosphere was stunning. I highly recommend the Palace Hotel as one of the leading Wedding places for that special touch.
We have also used the room facility for the following day, and even the rooms are superb and clean and comfortable . Nice selection during the breakfast buffet and they also cater for those people that might have a problem with any particular food intake, and also for those with mobility problems. Just let them know in advance and they arrange everything for you.
Thank you.

Just back from a 7 night stay with 10 year old son and granny. We really enjoyed our stay. Room was large with plenty or room for 2 beds plus the extra fold away for the wee man. All the facilities we needed. Our room had no view ( a little courtyard instead of balcony) but we spent more time on the rooftop terrace anyway so it wasn't a problem. We booked B&B only ...Huge choice for breakfast and plenty of nearby restaurants as well as opportunity to eat at the Palace and linked Victoria. Pool area was great with no sunbed issues, very clean and staffed all day. the pool was a little on the cold side and is not aimed at kids but great for a refreshing dip after a hot day sightseeing. Staff were very friendly especially the concierge and bar staff. Amanda the guest relations manager was very attentive - we had no issues for her but she provided the opportunity to raise any had there been any. Son really appreciated the free Wi-Fi to relieve xBOX withdrawal!

Room Tip: Higher floor have views.

This hotel has a great pool area. Heaps of deck chairs, good bar and cafe etc. The staff at the front desk as well as the bar in reception are very professional, helpful and also friendly. Nice size room and bathroom. Great variety at breakfast. Wi-Fi didn't always work that well in the room. Great location as you could easily walk to both St Juliens and into Silema Port.

Guest Relations called to make sure that we were having a good time which was a nice touch as well as special drinks in the bar.

We booked just the basic room and the room itself was great, but the hotel really needs to get double glazing. We were on the first floor facing the road. The church bells rang every half an hour the whole night on our last night and unless you were a really deep sleeper or had ear plugs this was a bit disturbing. Not sure if this was a special festival but it was loud!! I think that if you were on the other side of the hotel this would not be a problem

The only other thing, even though this was minor, was this was a 5 Star hotel and I would expect 5 star products in the bathroom. They were the most basic products eg soap, bath gel etc. You would normally find in a 2 star hotel. The housekepping in the room was great but bathroom not so great. They never really checked and replaced anything. Body lotion was used on the first day and never got another one.

I know that this sounds picky but when you are in a 5 Star hotel you should expect this.

I would stay again at this hotel as it is really was a lovely hotel with fantastic staff. The staff here are all 5 Stars

Room Tip: Choose a higher room away from the church side.

first time i went there, i totally fell in love w the pool on the 9th floor. Ordered the duck wrap which was just amazing. this was during august. 2nd time I visited, (early october) not exactly sure what happened but it was not a pleasant visit. The pool was just too cold. Flies everywhere. Overcrowded and half of the sunbeds taken away. The food was overcooked or reheated - couldn't even swallow it. Probably won't go back! Maybe they have better staff during peak season....

We stayed here in September for a week, the Palace has a central location and it is easy to access both St Juliens and Valetta, as well as the bars and restaurants of Sliema. The staff were perfect - very attentive and friendly and no request was too much trouble for them. My husband suffers from a diary allergy and the chefs were only too pleased to serve diary-free alternatives for him. We were on a bed and breakfast basis, but found ourselves eating at the hotel on three theme nights, and also tried the Tempt Asian - which had truly fantastic food in a beautiful restaurant with lovely views. Our room had a lovely balcony and contrary to expectations (from what we had read on this site) the church bells presented no problem at all. The bathroom was not as big as we would have expected for this calibre of hotel, and our personal preference would have been for a walk-in shower rather than one over the bath. But on the plus side, the bed was by far - the most comfortable bed we have ever experienced, and the room was beautifully furnished, clean and of a good size. This hotel's greatest asset is its staff;- Amanda, the guest relations manager, Mario, the front office manager and his team, and all the staff gave excellent service and were genuinely interested in making our stay most memorable and enjoyable. Thank you to all at the Palace - we will definitely be back early next year.

Room Tip: Higher floors have the views, and if the budget allows go for a superior room
