His specialised menu is great. As you sit at the table the waiter comes and updates you with what's fresh and on today's menu. Every single item is just so tempting you find it difficult which plate to have. highly recommended and reasonable prices.

Their cassatella siciliana is homemade and unique !

This is great artisanal food in atmospheric surroundings. The whole party (4) thoroughly enjoyed the fare presented in good time and whilst it's not fine dining, we didn't expect it to be and therefore we had lovely food with great flavours, all at a good price. Recommended to book as the first night we asked for a table, they were fully booked and the second night was pretty busy too. Opens from 7.30 p.m.

Despite the unassuming exterior - it used to be a confectionery and still looks likes one - this must be one of the best restaurants in Malta. We went for a fairly late lunch and, despite finishing well after closing time, never felt rushed. The menu is written on a blackboard and changes every day depending on the season. The owner talked us through every dish, translating anything that we might not understand. I had a local fish (which I've shamefully forgotten the name of) and my girlfriend had baked duck breast. Both were exquisite and it was one of the best meals we've ever had. There's a great selection of local wine too and we shared a beautiful 2009 Bel Syrah. Highly recommended and we wouldn't hesitate to go back. Prices are fairly high for Malta but they're fully justified.
