On a weeks holiday on Malta, in April, having had two poor meals and one awful effort, We found the family run Italian restaurant Casanova on the water front in Valletta where the staff were friendly and very wellcoming, the food ,fresh and well cooked and the prices reasonable. In all we ate there three times, sampling the fillet steak, veal(twice), red snapper and sea food pasta. We also had whitebait tempura, Aubergine bake, Carpaccio and pizza and drank Chilien Red and white from Puglia. Both excellent. Very pleasant evenings, we hope return soon.
