Had the Maltese specialty "beef olives" (like the Italian braciola, but in a Maltese way) and the rabbit ravioli (there were two of us!). Both dishes were excellent. Great wine list of local wines. Recommended.

We chose Maltese specialities for startes and pasta dishes for mains and both were very generous serves. The meals were wonderful comfort food with loads of umami. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. Another Maltese winner.

Visited on the last night of our stay. My wife wanted to go back to Guze but I wanted to try somewhere different.
We did not make a reservation, but arriving early we were able to get a table for two.
The restaurant was staffed by two young people who were very obliging but it soon became apparent did not know much about what the restaurant had to offer.
My wife asked for a gin but the staff did not know what gins they had. We then asked for half a bottle of champagne only to be told that they did not sell half bottles. When it was pointed out that half bottles were on the wine list one was unceremoniously placed on the table without an ice bucket. This problem was exacerbated by the fact that the temperature outside was 29C and the air con was switched off.
On a positive note, the food was good. fresh produce beautifully served.
A little more effort front of house and this could be. A great restaurant. As it is it quite rightly lags behind some of the other restaurants in Valletta

When to Aaron's Kitchen tonight & thought the food was absolutely first class.Sardines to start with Pesto & Pine Nuts followed by Sea Bass Fillet,a date Pastry(a Maltese speciality) & Prosecco & Prickly Pear Liquor..And the staff where the nicest in Valleta and well worth a visit..Had some fabulous food while in Valleta(check out my other reviews) but Aaron's Kitchen definitely up there with the best we've had.

Visited the restaurant out of curiosity last year. The place is rather small but the atmosphere is nice and cosy, the staff friendly. Since the chef patron co-hosts a cooking show on tv, our expectations were high. We were not disappointed. The menu caters for all tastes and the dishes are inventive while retaining a homemade feel. Over the past year we visited the restaurant several times, each time trying something different. The speciality of the day was our frequent choice. Whether pasta, meat or fish, the food was always great. Portions on the generous side without being too much. And desserts? Simply delish. When we visited with my parents, my mother asked for an ingredient to be removed because of a medical condition. No problem! She got the dish she wanted without that ingredient. Free appetizers are given while waiting for the food ordered. We had the opportunity to speak with Chef Aaron various times there, describing the food and even given hints on how to cook certain ingredients. We still do his kidney bean bigilla at home to this day! A great place to go for a quiet, value for money lunch or dinner.
