Description: Perfection. It is a strong, subjective, controversial and hard-to-define concept. But we are driven by that Holy Grail - to create the perfect pizza. Sometimes we get it right. No. Most times we get it right. Every single detail is taken care of. Leave nothing to chance. Every single pizza has to be a work of art. Every single pizza has to be a masterpiece. Every single pizza has to be as if it was your last pizza while on death row.

“Custom made pizza!”
Reviewed 25 July 2014 via mobile

We stayed in Malta for a week in July and visited Valletta in the evening.

We were looking for a small restaurant and found Margo's just off one of the squares.

The menu takes a bit of reading, as each delicious pizza is explained in detail. We explained to our waiter that one of our party cannot eat cheese, so he suggested a custom made pizza - he just asked my husband what types of toppings he liked and we left it to him.

The pizzas were probably the best we have ever tasted and very inexpensive. For dessert we had homemade ice cream and sorbet (fabulous) and chocolate mousse - excellent!

If in Valletta walk away from the larger restaurants and try Margo's - our bill with beers, wine and coffees was about £60 for three of us.

“Fun atmosphere and great pizza!”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

We had a great experience at Margo's. We were there on a quiet Monday evening, so the manager took the time to talk and joke a bit with our table. The pizza and pasta that everyone had was excellent as was the wine. We got to taste some lavender ice cream made in house and it was to die for. If we had been in Valletta for longer, we would have gone back for more!

“Great Pizza in Valletta!”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

On our recent trip to Valletta in Malta we visited Margo's restaurant. We ate the Pizza which were made freshly in their pizza oven by an Italian chef. The pizza size was big enough to share we tried Margherita and Fungii, and it was a lot of food! We also sampled the puddings - I ate Valhrona chocolate mousse and my partner had the Creme caramel. Both puddings were served in jars which was quite novel and very practical, as you could take any unbeaten food away, as they explained on their menu. Quirky and nice restaurant, with a musician playing in the street nearby. We enjoyed our meal and the ambiance. many photos line their walls and there is a sign that says - Who is Margo? We still didn't find that out ...so maybe you can when you go to eat there!

“Luncheon colonial style”
Reviewed 30 June 2014 via mobile

Friendly service, food very freshly prepared with great attention to detail from staff, such as free gratis tasters. Located a stone throw from major sights, however surprisingly this was not reflected in the prices which are very reasonable. A great wee find and would highly recommend as respite from the hussle and bussle of the city.
