“surprising with its detail”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

We were fortunate enough to have a splendid guide who had "lived "the history via his father who was involved with many aspects of the war during the 40's . The rooms combined with an explanation of the details of the war by this guide made this an exceptional opportunity to learn of Malta's role in the war as well as WW2 history in general.

“Another layer of Malta's History”

Fascinating - especially the short film at the start of the exhibit! You could just imagine what it would have been like in war time. Toilets were a little creepy!

Thank you for your visit. Sorry for the toilets but given the fact that they are located underground they tend to be a bit damp.

Thank you for your visit and comments. Indeed we are a voluntary heritage organisation which is dependent on all forms of assistance and support we can get. There is a lot that remains to be done in getting this long neglected underground complex back to its original state but we are getting there as you have seen. So thank you very much for your support.

When you come here take 40mins out of your holiday to watch the film and have the tour guide take you round. He is a walking book of knowledge who is passionate about sharing this history of Malta. He will bring the rooms to life if you just walk round you will miss out on a real treat.
