Tiny taste of England in an interesting if petite space. Plenty of canned beers and ciders in a shrine to Oliver Reed. Good music and I did not think it was any more expensive than drinking in English pubs. We did not know it was there so no question of ticking it off our lists.
It was nice to get some decent English beer.
Reading the Reed stories was also quite interesting, physically he went from a macho moustacioed film idol to a Bill Oddie look-alike. He did go out in style - they say on his last day, aged 61 whilst filming the almost completed Gladiator, he consumed eight lagers, 12 double rums and half a bottle of whisky..
