This little street carries some history with it, and it provides a very nice walking experience in Valletta.
See if you can plan your trip to start your walk from the top of the hill, going downward, otherwise you're in for quite a steep climb.

The Strait Street is not the only attraction in Valletta; all streets are really magnificent, especially the other Pedestrian streets like the Republic street and Merchants Street where you can enjoy the sloping streets leading to the sea front.

Besides visiting the St John’s Cathedral, the museums and the Grandmaster's Palace; walking in these streets is really fun; they are full of tourists, beautiful old buildings with their Arabic windows, shops selling all sorts of products starting with souvenirs and ending with stylish clothing, and the multiple restaurants and coffee shops where you can relax and enjoy a good espresso and the delicious sweets.

In the heart of the historic center of Valletta, this road is very characteristic and it goes until you get near Fort St. Elmo.
A walking of about 10-15 minutes, a very characteristic, to me personally I hit the beauty and uniqueness of the houses built in stone, that same yellowish color that predominates throughout the city looking at it from a point of view.
This road itself does not offer much, a bit 'anonymous but undoubtedly part of the history of the city.

Strait Street is a long street that goes form the square over to Fort Elmo, not a great deal to do here apart from the Toy museum and to look at the old houses and bars that have not been touched over time. It is the place where all the British Sailors used to drink and im sure could tell a tale or two. Well worth a walk down just to look and imagine what has gone on here over the years with a couple of very old bars still going strong.
