This three-month old restaurant is directly across from the Old Theatre. The ambiance in this narrow, stone-walled space is poor. There is an entry level and a lower level with a few tables and an even lower, darker space where the restrooms are located. The restaurant has a mildew order and isn't very pleasant for the eye. While the owners, originally from Rome, were friendly and welcoming and the food ingredients were fresh and nicely prepared by the Roman chef, the food lacked flavor. Every dish was boring and bland in taste. Even adding more cheese to our lasagna did not do much to boast up the flavor. We opted not to have dessert so cannot comment.
