In the hidden garden of a theatre, very nice and calm seating .. pasta are worth it and friendly prices will attract you again. Typically the kind of address you need to know before you get there

There are few moments in life when you are completely satisfied an yesterday was one of these rare times.so, let me say the truth ....I am always a little bit peculiar when I go to a new restaurant but yesterday I didn't have anything bad to comment about .A huge suggestion is that you leave the order to the waiter as they obliviosly know best. We started off by being presented with many plates to share.then as for fish we were given a fish in salt called -'al sale '.the dessert were all very good.the food is great ,the staff is kind and the environment is typical Maltese -
A must go restaurant

The restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel staff. Made reservations without problems on the same day. Very friendly and attentive staff, we had different people looking after us that just aligned themselves easily with our dinner pace and needs.
For starters we took in marinated prawns in lemon sauce and marinated scampi. Simple and lovely, served with some grilled bread so you can enjoy the lemon sauce a bit more. Then grilled swordfish and a mixed fish platter with swordfish, tuna, calamari and some scampi; again well done. I then had the home made ice cream with the chocolate winning easily over the vanilla. Coffee and a limoncello to round it off. €120 lighter, even with the nice Le Chiare wine a bit pricey in my view for two persons.
You notice this is an established restaurant, dealing with locals, businessmen and tourists all year round. Food is excellent, nice ambiance, excellent service as well but for a romantic dinner with your husband/wife consider Rubino or Guzé Bistro on the same street.
