Definitely not to be missed. Have stunning views over the old city, the Grund river and the lower city (la cité basse).

My wife and I had a wonderful walking experience in Luxembourg as we traversed Le Chemin de la Corniche. Our hotel wasn't too far from the narrow street that took us down into this delightful area and we explored for several hours. There are great walking trails throughout. You will have to traverse up and down so be prepared to take the steps!

The walk starts with the steps and it ends with steps. You should have comfortable shoes and a long range camera. You can go down to Grund and take pictures as well but seelng it from the higher elevation gives you opportunities of variety shots
A MUST SEE PLACE

My wife and I visited the city and floowed the self guided walking tour of this area. Was truly spectacular and a great walk in this beautiful area. We walked from the train station and then this area north overlooking the Grund and city views. Well worth the time, grerat photo ops along walk, beautiful vistas along the route.

Panoramic views of the old town as you walk along city ramparts.
Certainly lives up to the title of one of the most beautiful balconies in Europe taking in the Alzette, Grund and Neumunster below. Steeped in history, lots of photo taking opportunities and best of all they are free!!!
Cannot be missed if you are visiting Luxembourg!
