This is a great memorial to the men and women who lost their lives in WW2 their are also several sets of brothers who are buried here. An army female nurse is buried here as well.

Incredibly moving and awesome. Our touring group of 42 stopped here to appreciate the loss and sacrifice of so many. Take the time to meander through the many crosses, some with names and others to unknowns. Very meaningful area. We did also go to the German Cemetery. Both are well worth the time to visit and reflect. You won't see crowds at either location, unless a tour group like ours comes through.

You can't help but reflect on the many who sacrificed their lives for freedom. It is a very reverent place and those who visit are respectful. Your heart melts for those who died and were buried here.

We visited over Memorial Day weekend, and it is a beautiful reminder of our fallen, including General Patton. Also worth checking out the German cemetery down the road.

And make you think of the thousands of fallen men, women and children. The rows and rows of crosses on neatly manicured lawn are a stunning reminder of the waste of war.
