I'm commenting on the restaurant, not the brasserie. The restaurant has a 50 page wine list (who wants to plough their way through that lot?) and a 2 page food menu (that should have set some bells ringing). Anyway, we had Carpaccio de Saint Jacques as a starter; the scallops were sliced so thin they looked like a pattern on the plate and were tasteless. For main course I had fillet steak which was very good with a nice sauce, accompanied by 8 carefully arranged chips (pommes frites) and nothing else. My wife had langoustines with asparagus (nothing else) and the portion was miniscule, barely enough for a starter. The meal was redeemed somewhat by a reasonaby-sized cheese plate and dessert. But for the 6 bread rolls, I would have gone home hungry.
Definitely off my list!
