... one wonders how the former St Nicolas cathedral (1300/1400), where the Lusignan kings were crowned Kings of Jerusalem, must have looked like before being converted into a mosk in 1571, at which time all sculptures outside and inside, glass windows and tombs were destroyed.... Still worth a visit, provided one takes one's shoes off. Next to no worshippers when we were there.
