Amazing site it is like time has stood still I half expected the ancient Greeks to appear in their togas,I wish I could have spent more time there, try to get there early in the morning it gets so hot, and yes take loads of water.

It may have been the heat, but my companion and I, after about an hour, my companion and I felt that we had exhausted the joys of Salamis. Some interesting pavements, a good theatre, and the wild flowers were lovely, but otherwise...............

A most amazing archaeological site - a whole ancient Greek city covering a huge area over which you can wander (and wonder) freely.
Some areas have been sympathetically restored (but not overly so), some left as they were excavated.
The site is so vast, that even if there are several coach parties there, you hardly notice them.
There are no refreshment facilities on site (restaurant just outside the entrance) so take plenty of water; you could spend most of a day here and not see all of it.
Good beach adjacent for a refreshing swim afterwards.

Interesting historical site, covering a very large area of ground - bring ample water, as a fair bit of walking is required. Great for taking photos & remember to bring a swimming costume & towel to go swimming afterwards! Clearly signposted from Famagusta.

Liked the room and reception staff. Didn't particularly like the queues in restaurant nor the beach.
