Ten days in a villa organised by Noble Caledonia. Efficient transit from Larnaca airport.
Rooms are simple, comfortable & spacious, fully equipped kitchen but no crockery & cutlery - just kettle & cups. WiFi everywhere in the complex.
Excellent service from all staff. Breakfast selection improved after having a quiet word!
Great lunches by the pool, and modest dinners (buffet catering for our group of 18 travellers).

Interesting tours to historic sites well organised by Kyrnia Travel.

Nick

Room Tip: Extra for a villa seemed worth it. Use A/C to keep out motorway noise.

This is a really good hotel but the main road in front of the hotel means that you cannot walk from it to the town, without risk to life and limb!. However there is a free hotel bus service and taxis are readily available and cheap. The views from the hotel are great . The staff are superb and nothing was too much trouble in our stay. Food is good but the coffee at breakfast ( a sort of instant dusty powder )was dire.... coffee you order from the bar is fine. rooms are lovely. In our stay there were not many other occupants so we had more or less sole use of both the indoor and outdoor pools. Both great.

Room Tip: There is a main road in front of the hotel but with windows closed and air conditioning on, you do not notice the noise. Great views over the coast line form nearly every room.

Located just outside Girne, this hotel is a good place to stay. The rooms are fairly spacious with lots of storage space. Nice clean bathroom with abundant hot water. My room had a balcony with sea view but also a view over a dual carriageway which, had I wanted to sit out on the balcony could have been a bit noisy. Efficient air-conditioning. Breakfast is OK - lovely yoghurt!
Wide range of facilities - indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and turkish bath.
The staff are very friendly and keen to help if problems arise.

This is a family owned hotel with all the advantages and disadvantages that implies. The rooms are in two blocks and then there are some individual villas. Rooms 101 to 118 are in a block which is quiet and with very good sea views. Rooms 119 to (I think) 400 are in a block which has oblique sea views but faces a very busy main road. In mid-April we were in room 336 and would like to have left the window open but the traffic noise made that impossible. We put on the air conditioning. The restaurant food is no better than average. Typically in the evening there is a choice of two main courses, perhaps moussaka or lamb. The moussaka was disappointing. Forget delicious Turkish coffee. At breakfast there is a jar of coffee powder from which you can make your own with the lukewarm water supplied.
The service was very keen to help but disorganised. When we arrived our bags were dumped in front of the hotel by the taxi driver. It was some time before a hotel porter appeared, but he was very helpful when he finally arrived. Excellent big screen telly in the bar, mostly tuned to sport.
If you are on a package the hotel may include a dinner at the Chimera restaurant on Kyrenia harbour. Thats because the same family owns it as owns Onar

I have just returned from six nights staying at this great hotel. I had a lovely room with a balcony. The bathroom was good with lots of hot water. The hotel was kept immaculate and it's greatest feature is its staff. From the General Manager downwards I have nothing but praise for all the staff. They were helpful, welcoming, efficient and fun. The food was excellent and although I didn't go in the outside pool it was very inviting. Northern Cyprus is an excellent place to visit. The people are very welcoming and polite and kyrenia/ Girne is just beautiful.

The north is completely different from the south and in my opinion the people are more genuine and it is less developed which, in my opinion, gives it the edge on the south. I flew into Larnaca and had booked the hotel and transfer via Direct Traveller and they too gave an excellent service.

A big Thankyou to all the staff who made my trip so lovely. I shall most definitely be back.
