Description: Tavern Hill existed since 1992. Mr. Kostas was the first resident of the village who attempted to create business on the Hill village since the village was abandoned in the old days. With care and diligence of like with the help of a multi-family succeeded in a few years, to make known the Tavern on the inside as the outside. Visitors can choose from Cypriot cuisine with known authentic Cypriot meze menu and Ala Card, combined with the lovely Cypriot wine. Mr. Kostas as a former musician and continues the family tradition in music continue playing bouzouki at the deacon of your stay in the restaurant .The 2001 began the creation of lodgings called Agrovino studios which are very close to the tavern. Accommodation which is rigged with the traditional way of building that is a combination of stone and wood. In 2015 we created our first Cypriot wine cellar called Agrovino wine shop / bar. With a wide selection of wines from all over Cyprus. Also do not forget to taste our own fresh juice from pomegranate, tangerine, orange and red grapefruit, all from our own Agrovino farm. We will be glad to have you with us in the future.

we where on company seminar and we enjoyed every minutes with typical folklore and amazing foods all along the evening, this village lofou in very well known for his natural herbs and views, very quiet place and traditional foods very tasty i recommend strongly not to have big lunch before, foods served are lovely and generous especially the famous kleptiko..( the story of this slow cooked lamb is very funny, earlier in Cyprus people that could have meat were considered rich! so who wanted to enjoy lamb was hiding it and cooking it on a hole with woods under the floor in order to do it discretly, Klepto in greek mean thief so keleptiko for stolen lamb)..thanks to the staff

A small Taverna in a sleepy village setting, small side streets and I hope you like walking up hills :) the taverna itself had 3 very nice young boys one who liked having his picture taken a lot lol but the service was great and what we ordered was very good as well as great service and very family oriented place

Staying in Lofou we tried "all" places and agreed that this one was the best: good and generous (even too much!) food, beautiful restaurant, mother and daughter proposing traditionnal dishes... We loved it and the kid (10 y) ate and ate and just enjoyed. I'd like to rent a room there next too.

Nice authentic taverna. Mousakka was lovely but didn't come with any accompaniment, just a little bit of salad would have been a great addition, saying that it was reasonably priced and very tasty

I must say that is very refreshing to be able to find a most welcoming unpretentious family run village restaurant.
There is no parking outside the restaurant but as you approach there are various places to park which is only a few minutes walk to the tavern.
We were a family of 4 adults.
We ordered the meze at only €17.50 per head.
Started with various dips and large salad.
The dips seemed a little on the mean side for the 4 of us but there was a reason for this.
This restaurant means to give value for money none of that pasta filling starters or boiled potatoes.
After our dips they started to bring large chunks of grilled halumi, toasted pita with cheese filling, stefado, bbq chicken, bbq lamb souvla, home made chips, spiced mince, chops, zucchini with egg, bulgar wheat salad.
By now we were really full.
At the end they served fruit.
This was a true no frills meze with decent food not the many little dishes most restaurants serve of no real value.
At all times they were friendly and very professional.
A family that really wanted to please and make sure their guests left full.
Well done Lofou Tavern.
Will certainly return again.
