Very nice swimming pool and beach area, with lush greenery and a nice sea view. Great vacation location. A helpful concierge at the hotel was happy to arrange our day-tours even at the last minute.
The restaurants within the resort were all overprized. There are some restaurants not too far outside of the resort which we only discovered at the end of our trip.

Having stayed at Le Meridien on previous occasions it is safe to say that I have gotten to know the Hotel quite well and Must say it is in dire need of a serious Upgrade and Overhaul. The Hotel has lost its flare and as previously mentioned by other Travellers there really is no Attention to detail . Maybe it is do to with the Low Occupancy and the fact that the Hotel is so big and therefore seems very isolated but for sure the Management need to seriously think about Upgrading the Hotel Staff so they Understand the meaning of Friendliness and that goes especially to the rude Reception Staff. Also the Price in the Evening Restaurant Le Fleuri is a pure rip Off. Food is overall very Limited and they have not changed their Menu in 4 Years ( very sad ) and stay away from Room Service it is either cold or bad upon arrival. The Hotel Rooms are also quite run down and in need of an Upgrade as much of the room decor and furniture seems old and worn down. However, beds are good and the Beach is nice. However not worth the Value for Money and will go back to The Four Seasons next time.

Having seen this hotel a number of times from the A1 we decided to stay. In a good location away from the main drag of Limassol.

Room was fine, bathroom area a bit dated but clean, safe didn't work. Breakfast buffet good, although the evening buffet was well overpriced for what was on offer. Would not have that option again. A la carte menu was limited but the meals we had were very good.

Service was good from all the staff. Garden area for sunbathing was good, nice towels for sunbeds, fresh each day.

This hotel is secluded and prefer this to being surrounded by ex-pat british type bars. The hotel facilities are excellent, we travel with our four year old son and it is child heaven. Penguin village with paddling pool, climbing frame, see-saw, huge bouncy castle etc and fantastic friendly staff. Leisure land for older children for tennis golf bowling, football, bike hire etc. The grounds are beautiful with many swimming pools. The pool staff are very attentive as are all the staff. I would say that 90% of the staff have been there the three years we have been visiting. The food in the buffet restaurant is better than excellent. The hotel has other restaurants but there was no need to bother. The rooms are clean but need decorating as the soft furnishings are looking a bit tired but this doesn't overshadow the fact that this is an excellent hotel. Yes the drinks are expensive 6 euros for a beer and 21 euros for a bottle of house wine but I imagine it is the same in every hotel and not just Le Meridien. We didn't use the spa facilities or the hotel shop but we are returning to Cyprus one last time and we will be staying at Le Meridien as during our last visit we looked at the Annabelle, Elysium and a couple of other hotels which were more than double the price and not half as good as Le Meridien. Definately recommend for families and couples.

My wife and I have just returned from a four night stay at Le Meridien. As always, the staff and service were excellent. The food was superb and the room very comfortable. We have stayed in a number of five star hotels in Cyprus and we believe Le Meridien continues to be the best.

Very nice overall. We stayed during a low-season period, so not all amenities were available. Great pools and outdoors. I believe that the pool areas will be marvellous in the summer!

The dinner was a bit too expensive for it's price. We paid 90EUROS for a nothiing-special buffet for two persons.

Also, from an expensive 5-star hotel attention to detail is expected. We booked specifically for a room with a double bed, but we were placed in a room with two single beds. We complained about that but the only thing the staff bothered to do was to put the two single beds next to each other. What was more dissappointing was that we were told that all the double rooms of the hotel have the same beds, while a friendly couple stayed in a room with a double bed... Given the hotel's charges, i would expect more...

Room Tip: insist for the room setting they booked for...

We have just got back from our honeymoon having spent a week at the le meridian hotel in limissol. I suggested the stay having enjoyed the le meridian at grande bay in mauritius. The hotel has lots of great facilities, pools and comfy rooms which made our stay very enjoyable. We were spolied with half board upgrade to eat in buffet, a sea view room and finally the special candlelit dinner we were promissed when we booked. However this hotel has a number of drawbacks. 1) Location; far out of limassol. 12 euros to the tourist area and a further 18 to the old town. 30 euros on way. one euro on the bus. 2)Limassol is an odd city. it doesn't really have an area to which tourists gravitate like pafos or ayia napa. Hire a car! 3) very expensive drinks, massage treatments and meals. In my view 15 euros for a beer, a bottle of water and a coke with dinner is very over priced. Knock a third off and it still expensive but would consider buying more. 4) We had a number of honeymoon offers promissed, bottle of wine on arrival, fruit, and a candlelight meal. we had to ask for these offers on a number of occasions, getting conflicting information about our eligibility for the offers from different staff. In my opinion red carpet treatment is required after our first attempt.
5) Staff conduct. Some are very professional however some are very brash. A number would cut you off half way through a personal enquiry to answer a phone or say hello to another guest. This is not how I treat my customers. I had a disagreement with a staff member who told me the gym was open after I had visited it to find it closed. 6) yeh - bathrooms need updating, loose the cream coloured basins.

One oasis that has football, free wifi and affordable drinks is the double point cafe / shop a short walk away from the hotel. great if you want to kick back from the hotel formality.

Room Tip: look out for the offers
