“Great Personal Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2014

I went with friends who were returning for the 6th time. Going to the same place year in, year out is not my thing but they raved about the staff and the small touches that add up to a great experience. Having just spent a fabulous week there I now understand what they mean.

There are more modern, minimalist hotels to be had but everything you need has been thought about and provided here. The hotel is immaculately clean with pretty gardens and great food. Our sea view room had everything we needed and was serviced beautifully daily with an evening turn down service. There is a huge pool for families and, at the other end, an adults only pool area. There is a great beach and extensive water sports just down the hotel path.

We spent every day, looked after by Patrick at the Pool Bar at the Adults Only Pool. We were spritzed with cool rose water, given fresh orange juice mid morning as we lay on super comfortable sun beds. Oh, then the grapes after lunch and the oh so welcome ice creams late afternoon.

The Seasons Oriental restaurant was lovely (thank you Kenny & Sunni) and breakfast provided more variety than you can imagine. The Vista bar and terrace provide great cocktails and cater to your every request (thanks to George, Manos and Panos).

The incredibly friendly staff are the most winning part of Four Seasons. I have a sneaky feeling I'll be grabbing a week in the sun there again next year - and the year after......

Room Tip: It's great to wake up in a room with a sea view,

You can’t please all of the people all of the time and some individuals are simply consummate and habitual complainers but as far as the Four Seasons hotel is concerned the complaints are few and far between and rarely creditable.

This hotel is quite simply paradise, not cheap but worthy of every penny. Top class service begins before you arrive with a pre-welcome e mail. On arrival at the hotel, the concierge staff welcome you and reception staff greet you warmly and always make mention of your previous stays. A complimentary sparkling wine or delicious fruit cocktail is presented on arrival making each guest feel valued. Andreas and his reception staff are always friendly, hospitable and helpful whatever the time of day.

Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Some overlook the pool area and beach, others overlook the road and mountains. Negative comments have been made about the road and although it can get slightly busy on times it’s not a huge problem. (See photo taken late afternoon). Traffic calming is in place and the local police have banned motorcyclists from racing up and down.

A bottle of mineral water, per guest, is left each day and a well-stocked fruit bowl is replenished regularly with a selection of delicious fresh fruit e.g. apricots, bananas, oranges, apples and grapes. A box of yummy sweet jellies and chocolates is presented on your first day. Beds are comfortable and air conditioning provides a cooling atmosphere: well required after a day spent in the sunshine. Flat screen TV’s in bedrooms provide a selection of English speaking channels. The bathrooms have a Jacuzzi shower bath, wash hand basin and WC. Complimentary Molten Brown toiletries are provided and replenished as and when required. A well-stocked mini bar is available should you require it and a complimentary hospitality tray and safe are provided for guest’s use.

The hotel boasts a selection of magnificent restaurants both formal and informal. Colors café is a must, their selection of hot and cold beverages, snacks and ice creams is outstanding. Seasons Oriental is undoubtedly one of the best Chinese restaurants. Whenever a coffee is ordered at the hotel, it is served with a selection of very delicious petit fours; absolutely gorgeous.

Pool areas are two-fold; one primarily families and one adult only. Each area has an abundance of comfortable sun beds, umbrellas and tables. Again staff in these areas strive to make sure that your stay is memorable (in a positive way). Special mention to Patrick at the adult pool and Savvas Nicolaou at the family pool – exemplary service.

Overall, customer service at this hotel is nothing short of excellent with all needs being met and expectations being exceeded. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff from housekeeping through to management. This was our 5th stay (June 4th – 11th) and our opinion of the hotel never changes. Four Seasons hotel, never change, keep doing what you’re doing because you’re doing it right! Thank you one and all for another fantastic stay.

We knew we were booking 5* for real this time round and had high expectations as well as a bigger budget. What we didn't expect was the welcome and fantastic personalities of the hotel staff who make the Four Seasons such an outstanding hotel.

The hotel has a lovely location, beautiful beach lovely pool, fantastic restaurants and bars. The rooms are well appointed and lobby area is beautiful. It oozes 5 star and the service is 5 star but what really stands out is the staff who look after you
It will suit beach and pool lovers family and couples of all ages.

Try the Colors cafe' it is fantastic rubbing shoulders with islands rich but treated exactly the same by the staff and this is a theme throughout the hotel
Thee food is fantastic and for Al Carte is reasonably priced, a glass of bubbly, bottle of wine with two course meal of fabulous food in the Mavromatis (which includes canapés before starter) just 130 Euros for two with fantastic service.

The location, quality and staff are always terrific. Looking forward to the next time I'm there. The food service is terrific as well. Great breakfast, love the outdoor area as well and the location is great with the boardwalk right on the sea.

Room Tip: Ocean Side is always better than City View

We enjoyed our stay here in Mid March very much. We thought at the time of booking that the hotel was part of the Four Seasons chain. On arrival we discovered it wasn't but an independendently run family hotel. It may not be 5* but is very close and at a very much lower cost than a Four Seasons. We were not disappointed.

There was nothing to complain about :
Excellent staff who are obviously very well trained and can't do enough for the guests - including friendly receptionist staff - especially Julia
Quality restaurants - very good service, good quality food, wide variety of menus including an excellent breakfast selection and the oriental restaurant exceeded all expectations and lived up to its high reputation
Light and airy bedrooms which were spotlessly clean and well equipped bathrooms with nice toiletries
A very pleasant atmosphere throughout the hotel.

I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel as a perfect place to stay in southern Cyprus.
