The hotel is great despite the fact that it's not as huge as other hotels are. The servicing is perfect and the staff is friendly. There was a problem with the toilets however, even though they were very clean but you had to leave them open as well as the balcony because they smelled terrible and the rooms didn't smell very good afterwards but other than that it was of course not "luxurious" but more than adequate.

i stay one night only at Kapetanios Odyssia hotel. The room was ok, standard double, bathroom was clean, and the breakfast was very good.
Near the main beach road, one block distance, 200 meters to a public bus stop, and just outside of the main entrance there is a mini market.
There was swimming pool but i prefered to go to the beach, where i rent a sunbed and umbrella( 5 euros), Clean sea, clean beach, but not so good quality of the sand !!!
The only thing that i didn't like , was the cover of the bed, the material was terry and nylon, to protect the bed from sweat, but that makes my sleep uncomfortable and warm , even i had the cool aircondition all night. There are 3 restaurants at the hotel, but i didn't had a dinner on these.
Personell at reception was polite and i didn't had any problem at all.
Many restaurants and cafes were around the hotel, the old centre of Limassol is a little far, but you can take the ''30'' public bus, 1.50 euro ticket to go there .
i will stay again at Kapetanios Odyssia when i 'll come to Limassol again.

A good value for money hotel in a central location near to all amenities Limassol has to offer. Plenty of restaurants, pubs and bars nearby if you want to eat outside of the hotel. The beach is just across the road from the hotel and the hotel itself has two good sized pools.
Rooms are comfortable with all the usual facilities an added bonus was that wifi was available in your room and lobby with NO additional cost!!
Plenty of choice at breakfast whether you wanted cooked, continental, a good variety of choice to suit all tastes.
Staff were all polite and willing to help if you had any queries.
All in all a lovely hotel, good value for money, would definitely visit again.

If you want a hotel that is close to the town and near to the sea this hotel may suit your requirements. It was our first stay at this resort and we found it very relaxing. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. rooms were basic but functional and cleaned well every day. half board was excellent with hot and cold breakfast served every morning...including delicious porridge. Evening meal buffet was varied and catered for most tastes and again included hot and cold dishes.
It was our first stay Cyprus and found the atmosphere friendly and inviting. We did take the opportunity to visit most of the towns in both the South of the island and also the the North.
Summary: relaxing and enjoyable stay and it is likely we will visit this hotel again in the future. Big thanks to all the staff.

Room Tip: We had room 505 at the rear of the hotel over looking the pool and near the end of the corridor away from the lifts. No external air conditioner unit noise but some noise from the internal unit...turn fan down to minimum at night.

Nice hotel, good value for money. Great breakfast with lots of choice (Continental and British, toast, pastries, cheeses and meats, yoghurts etc).
Rooms were basic but clean. Beds were horrible! They had some kind of plastic covering on so made you really sweaty.
Bathroom was dated but again clean. Lovely powerful shower.
Air-con in room, worked and was adjustable.
2 pools, both clean and warm. Plus a child splash pool
All staff helpful and friendly.
No safe in room but safety deposit box available for extra charge.

Would have liked more information in the rooms, about menus, local attractions etc.

Take headphones and some music unless you love European dance music as that was all they piped round the pools and bar area. Although they did turn it down when I asked.

You can get pool towels from Reception if you ask.

Bar meals were good quality and good value.

It was really quiet, no problem getting a sunbed etc.

It was a bit far from anywhere, but taxis were reasonably cheap (Reception will call you one) and a bus stop right outside Debenhams (about 100m on the right on promenade). To walk to the old town took about 25 mins and not much shade along the way. Not enough restaurants nearby.

Beach was only a couple of mins walk.
Wifi (mostly) worked.

Would be great for business and family.
You can extend your check out time from 12 until 6pm for 20 euros.

There is a gym and spa facilities too.

Noisy at times from the main promenade road below.
