“Atlantica Oasis Gardens”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2012

Went back to the Atlantica Oasis in Limassol. What a fantastic hotel, clean staff were excellent nothing to much trouble. My daughter is diabetic and the head chef was lovely asking her what she wanted to eat. The entertainment team were great with alot of different activities going on.We went all inclusive and couln't fault any of the food. A good variety for adults and children. We were all vey sad at leaving. Will definately try one of their other 25 hotels next year.

Room Tip: Gardens are over the road from hotel very quiet if you have young children

Just back today, family of 5 - kids 13, 15,17, can't fault hotel, food, staff, cleanliness, friendliness - all excellent. Evening entertainment is a bit 'Benidorm' - old school caberet, bingo and young kids disco, all geared towards pre-teen and OAPs. Not great for teens to 50's looking for a bit of modern music and a bit of a 'boogie'. Zeta bar was great though, lots of cocktails all inclusive, great service and lots of screens to watch the Olympics.

This is our 3rd time now stopping at this hotel and the 3rd time over in the gardens. We had wine and fruit in our room on arrival which was very nice and had a partial sea view from our room, very large rooms with comfortable beds, eveything you need and large balconies! The gardens are literally 1 min walk away-Do not listen to negative reviews that are very exagerated!! Our room/block very clean, main hotel very nice, food and drinks great as usual, nothing I can complain about at all!! only went for a week this time All Inc but always enjoy our stay here, they have a fab large main pool where they have enterainment around the day etc, ate at the BBQ days twice. If I had to make one negative remark it would only be that the entertainment in the evening for Adults is not there, they have a large screen outside that shows movies but this gets boring after the first couple of days. At the end of the day its what you make of your time there! All in all had a fab time and will alawys use this hotel when going to Limassol!

Room Tip: Room 1323 that we had had partial sea view rooms and look to be the more updated block of the garden...

We had a 7 night all inclusive holiday at the hotel and had a great time. We paid £500ish per person for holiday, including flights from Bristol and thought it was excellent value for money. Food was excellent and plentiful and the all inclusive include a bbq night and one a la carte menu evening. The all inclusive drinks were also good value for money (although no cider included in the all inclusive!) and there were no restrictions at the bar. Unlimited bottles of ice cold water was also a big plus point for me. Although we arrived late sandwiches, crisps and soft drinks were available on arrival.

The dining area has a dress code so men..please remember to take trousers! My boyfriend didn't but the lovely woman in the dining area showing people to their tables explained where we could buy some for cheap. The staff in general couldn't have been more helpful - not a bad word to say. We accidentally left a wallet in the hotel room when we departing. I emailed the hotel when I got back and they kindly posted it (registered delivery) back to me free of charge - amazing service.

The beaches were nice and quiet when we went in May - the hotel provides picnics (i.e. sandwiches/water/crisps etc) if you want to go out for the day.

Limassol is a developing area but we found nice bars and places to eat when we did venture out and the weather was spot on.

Hotel room surpassed expectations - huge! We accidentally booked a twin room but when I emailed before departure they changed to booking to a double room. Rooms cleaned daily and to an excellent standard. All the staff work very hard.

I thought the hotel was excellent value for money.

Room Tip: On the advice of other reviewers I emailed the hotel before requesting a room on an upper floors ove...

Just back from a great week at the Atlantica Oasis. There are some moaning minnies around who are always looking to pick fault. Lovely clean room, very pleasant staff, extremely helpful when little one cut his chin open, food fabulous - something for everyone and plenty of it. Even the other holidaymakers (and the hotel was full) were lovely and we made a few friends. The entertainment was mostly geared towards the kids which was fine with me - there was always something going on for them. The outdoor cinema and musical fountain at night were always popular. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for newbies to the family holiday experience.

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking the cinema and thought it would be a problem - but it wasn't at all...

Having stayed at this hotel last year, we were always concerned it would not live up to our previous expectations. How wrong we were. Having met the hotel manager as we came of the coach we were immediately welcomed back.

Due to our late arrival time, the restaurant was closed however they had prepared sandwiches, fruit, crisps and juice. Within the first day it was pleasant to see many of the staff from the previous year and again they made us feel welcome.

Throughout the holiday we ate far too much as the restaurant food is as good as you could imagine especially for all inclusive. On a couple of occasions my son asked the chef to make him something special which was not on the menu and this was never a problem. So even for the most fussy of eaters this hotel is ideal. There is an outside barbeque twice a week and also an ala carte which is without doubt something really special. Thanks again to Marios for suggesting the Salmon.

The drinks package is also excellent, from champagne cocktails, Carlsberg and Keo on tap, Frappes and wine by the bottle, there is always plently of drinks to choose from throughout the day.

The entertainment team is led by Rick and his enthusiasm rubs off on his fellow entertainers who all work hard throughout the day and at night. I particularly enjoy the day time activities around the pool and especially the 5 a side football competition against the hotel management on a Friday afternoon. So if you play football bring decent trainers or astro trainers.

Also on a Friday the hotel management host a cocktail party, where the head chef, bar, restaurant, and entertainment managers attend and mingle with the guests. The hotel manager Nikos, and customer relations manager Katherine are also present and like all their staff are so approachable and keen to speak with the guests.

My wife visited the SPA for a facial and neck/back massage and raved about how good it was.

The Thomson's kids club was a favourite for my son. Every morning he would ask if it was on and could he go. The staff also worked a couple of additional evenings around the time of the ala carte to allow parents some free time in the evening away from the kids disco.

Eating out of the hotel, Toscana taverna on the main street does a mean steak diane for not a lot of cash however if you fancy something different visit Tokyo teppanyaki (near the four seasons).

Anyone travelling with kids, if you want to buy inflatables or anything child or baby related take a cab to JUMBO. This is the best shop on the island and every local knows about it. Everything is about a 1/4 of the price compared to the tourist area.

Throughout our holiday we met guests whom we had met previously and made new friends who like ourselves cannot see past this hotel and attend again and again. I wish we were still there.
