It is about time someone tackled the problems of misrepresentation by holiday companies when showing hotels on their websites that lead you to buy a holiday.Having been up since 3.30 am for an early flight and being shattered on arrival it is with absolute disgust that two adults and a fifteen year old arrived in their hotel bedroom to find it was literally big enough for a double bed and a single with no space in between, not one drawer except the one the hairdryer was in, a wardrobe which was not big enough for one person for a week let alone three for two weeks,(no exaggeration here) and a balcony that was just about able to sit two people on if you moved the bed to get to it and overlooked an run down falling apart apartment block overlooking the hotel car park. I felt very upset and very angry.... however this is a standard room and that is what we booked of course.Be careful of what you book. If the website had shown this room we would not of course have booked it... but naturally it dosent. I wonder why. So therefore unless you are prepared to spend extra money again to ensure a basic standard be wary. The Thomson rep Nikki was excellent however, so helpful at a time I could have just gone straight back home and after a couple of hours we were upgraded to a lovely room by the pool. This made all the difference and at least we felt we could manage two weeks. This hotel is lovely once you get used to it. It is not a plush hotel in the middle of an area with lots of things to do,There are nice pools, especially the adult pool and the indoor pool, There is an outdoor cinema screen which is excellent if that's what you want to do.Entertainment beforehand including bingo if that's what you want to do... very very noisy in the ballroom though and very hot when outside even in the evening. The entertainment team are very hard working and very friendly. The pools are lovely, big, well maintained. I saw at least twice a diver checking the tiles under the water as some were broken. It does get busy in the pool but that's what you expect in a family hotel in the height of the summer. The staff..... I cannot praise them enough... they make this hotel a better experience. They are so friendly, they work very hard, very polite, the bar staff(yes Dimitris they are excellent and so hard working), the restaurant staff..... all absolutely second to none. I only hope they are truly appreciated and valued. The food is excellent, lots of variety. Our friends son had his 12th birthday whilst we were there and the hotel gave him balloons, a birthday cake and a lovely gift in his room, all complimentary. That was lovely. The all inclusive is ok you don't need to buy the slush puppies or branded ice creams on display.... there are plenty of other things so you don't have to, you just need to realise not everything is included.Ask for large cokes as normal are tiny childrens cups and wouldn't last two minutes. Clean hotel as far as I saw just a bit run down. The welcome and leaving drinks and staff saying goodbye was a lovely touch. Limassol is quite run down but if you look there are lovely little coves to bathe in... travel on the bus to the old town and you find lots of beachside cafes and the beautiful old town is well worth a visit with little local shops alongside the usual tourist shops. Don't go there on a sunday to shop though as the shops are shut. Fassouri water park is excellent including pools to cool down in for those who don't go on rides. Ladies mile beach is wonderful with inflatables for children and cafes but you need to hire a car to get to it or the taxi will drop you at the end of a dirt track so you would have to walk a long way.Paphos a massive disappointment..we went to the tourist area of the harbour... might have gone to the wrong bit. Troudos mountains beautiful but there are not really any stopping points or little villages on the way up that we saw so it was a long trip.Thomson reps were very helpful but I was shocked there were not brochures available full of information about trips to look at etc... not even at reception. Very hard work trying to sort out where was best to go... had to keep asking the reps. Please just compile a book. Simple. The reality of this holiday is it is what you make it. I didn't find it amazing... I did however enjoy meeting some very polite people in a nice hotel in a beautiful country and being part of a real culture rather than a tourist hot spot.

Room Tip: Check before you travel what you might get if you don't specify. The rooms in the block by the p...

Booked 10 days half board through Thompsons for myself and my 2 sons.
Arrived late on Sunday night 11th of August, greeted by glasses of orange juice really friendly reception staff, even been offered to take my bags upstairs!!!!
Was given free late night snacks, and a voucher for lunch for missing the dinner sitting!
The hotel services and staff cannot be faulted in any way, inpressed from start to finish from losing room cards, booking late check outs etc, very very professional.
The choice of food cannot be faulted, anything and everything for all tastes!!!
The hotel has everything to offer for family's or couples, great pool area 3 in total, a pirate ship, main family pool and a lovely adults only pool, there is an outstanding gym indoor spa and pool, indoor squash court etc etc etc the list can go on..
The quality of the rooms as good as everything else , no complaints only praise.
The hotel is called Oasis for a reason, there's not a great deal happening around the hotel at all, apart from the Nags Head pub, couldn't find a good beach in walking distance, and the area is pretty run down ( shame )
Thompson reps were in hotel daily but the TMC hotel entertainment staff ran the show!!!!! I can't express how good they where and the enthusiasm they had !!!!!!!! Unbelievable Ryan, Karen, Sam, Laura, Jack, Kirstie, and 2 little ducks 22 Terri lol.
From morning to night, volleyball, aquasplash, bingo and shows, hilarious in a good way. Well done to them all !!!!!!
Don't by shy, get involved with all activities, especially water volleyball ( only if Sam is the ref) it's ace met some great people through playing with my boys. Welsh Andrew, Steve the winner and cockney coach!!!! ( we gave everyone a nickname lol)
Must mention Amy, Paul and family who were the best ( previous review already written). Amy said everything I was going to say so read hers again lol
Jeff, Maca and Morgan signing off......

To summarise Great hotel. Great holiday. Great food. Great entertainment and staff. It would be better if you could pick it up and put it in a different location.

Still " 10 out of 10 " though........... Loved it.....

I very rarely have time to put pen to paper to do a review but after such an amazing stay at the Oasis I really feel I have no choice. We had a 14 day stay at this hotel from 31/7/13 to 14/8/13 and cannot fault one thing. When we arrived we had a fantastic welcome from the reception team which gave the hotel the wow factor. The food was fab with such a good selection from breakfast to dinner.. All the staff were first class from the cleaners, bar staff the ladies that worked in the snack bar and a special thank you to the entertainment team, Karen, Laura, Terri, Kirsty, Ryan, Luke and Samantha (hope I haven't forgotten anyone) they made our holiday. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Had a fantastic week AI with a range of family members all ages from 8-75. The hotel and staff are fantastic.
The food range was brilliant - how people can complain I don't know. The salads were delicious with so much choice every meal. Great cocktails too.
Our rooms were lovely over looking the pool and were cleaned very well every day by Svetlana. The pool area was nice, if not a little over crowded with kids and floaties but this was to be expected during the second week in August. There is some early morning sun lounger claiming but this happens everywhere where there are British people. The hotel is immaculate. It was great having free Wifi in public areas.

Every staff member I encountered was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough - the maids, reception staff, waiting on staff etc. The pool and evening entertainment was good. I have to mention the entertainment team -Karen, Ryan, Kirsty etc , work so hard and with so much enthusiasm all day and night. They really are a credit to the hotel.

I have to mention about Thompson - where were they??? The welcome meeting was a joke - I fully understand the girl was new but why didn't her manager jump in to save face when she could see she was struggling. The hotel staff and entertainment team run everything. Karen and Ryan were even on the coaches as we were leaving, checking names. Isn't this Thomson's job?? Thomson are not needed in this hotel as the hotel staff and the entertainment team do everything. I heard that Thomson even double booked a wedding whilst we were there. The hotel manager was that alarmed, he arranged for another whole reception, paid for by the hotel. A Thomson mess!!

Reviews say the area is a mess - not entirely true. There are plenty of shops and bars just outside the hotel where you can stroll and have a drink, buy souvenirs. We didn't hire a car to see the island due to mixed group interest but caught the bus into Limassol a few times. We went for the hotel and its facilities and were not disappointed.

Overall we had a great family AI holiday and I would definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family because of the hotel staff, the entertainment team and the lovely food.

Room Tip: Ask for a room over looking the pool. We had rooms 2555/4 on the top floor. Great views.

My husband and I stayed here last July for our belated honeymoon (sorry for the late review) and its was just perfect :)
Clean, modern, beautifully presented in every way....the food was amazing on all inclusive, plenty of choice, fresh and constantly being checked by staff. The choice of drinks on all inclusive was amazing, lots of different stuff to choose from and service was always with a smile
Our room was clean, bright and the maid was very sweet, she did a great job
The pool area was extensive, lots of loungers and a choice to be in the shade if you needed, pool bar was great, get served very quickly and again always with a smile and chat
The entertainment was brilliant, outdoor cinema, disco for the kids downstairs and an adult only bar, that had a singer on most nights. Nice and relaxing if you don't have kids.
There wasn't loads around the surrounding area, which was what we wanted, although there is quite a few very nice bars and clubs within a 5 min walk if that's what your after (we can recommend Breeze and Pralina White) on the sea front. A bus pass for unlimited travel was 13 euro for the week and takes you all the way down the coast to the shopping mall (worth a trip) and the old town, which is so nice and great for shopping
By far the best part of this place is the staff...they made our holiday, they were amazing, couldn't do enough for you...always got time for you, even if they were run off their feet. They do an amazing job and are the best set of staff...well done guys top job, especially the bar and restaurant managers they deserve an extra shout out
Limassol is a lovely place, can't wait to return, there is a lot of development around the seafront that looks like its going to be amazing in a few years..I can't wait to see it, when I do I will be staying at the Atlantica Oasis :) x

We stayed here July 2012, 11 nights all inclusive. This was chosen for our honeymoon stay and I was not disappointed. From the moment we arrived to the second we left we were treated like kings..... The staff were amazing and went over the top to make sure everyone was happy. Special mention to the bar manager and restaurant manger. These guys are amazingly attentive and are really good at there jobs. When the bar manager found out it was our honeymoon , they surprised us with a bottle of champagne. The food was first class with BBQ nights and al la cart one night as well, but the buffet was very good and never struggled to find something to eat. Limassol it's self is a really nice place and a pretty old town to walk round with some lovely restaurants. It is being developed heavily on the sea front which will only make this more attractive. Amazing place would recommend to families, couples and groups wanting a nice relaxed time. Overall 10 out of 10. You only realise how good this was when you go else where. Keep up the good work and we hope to see you again some day.

Returned from a 7 day stay at A.O. went half board, as we dont eat much in an afternoon.
On arrival, we were greeted with a glass of orange each whilst checking in, check in wss fast and luggage was taken up to room on arrival. We got a free safe, and 10mins after being in room we got a plate of fruit and a bottle of wine delivered. Also had tea and coffee making facilities in room, but think we have paid for these privileges, thou thompson didnt inform us of this.
We were in a juniour suite I think, with large bathroom (shower over bath) plenty of wardrobe space, large tv with English tv channels, double bed in main area, sliding divider doors with2 single beds then onto a small balcony, it was big enough for me and my other half and 15 inflatables! Lol! The rooms are clean and tidy, and housekeeping were quick and efficient.
The lifts are very tiny! 5people max if 3 of these r small children!
Breakfast was always cooked well and had a variety of choice, drinks are help yourself.
Dinner, always a good choice, and feature many theme nights, cyprus night, italian night, greek night ect, plenty of choice!! And tasty to boot. Staff in restaurant are fantastic , the concierges are fabulous at their jobs and never seem to stop, you will see them all every meal time.
On the afternoons we did fancy some food, we went to the mocha, tray of chips fed four of us! Massive! For 3 euro! Bargain! Had a selection of pastries, sausage rolls ect for a similar price.
We had a room charge rather then taking euros out and leaving them by the pool, soft drinks were 2eruo50, including slushes, and these were larger the the AI cups. Magnum icecreams 2euro. Overall, resonable prices for an AI complex I feel. Water is expensive at 2euro 50 per large bottle, but there is a shop, literally outside of the reception area, where bottles of water are 90cents. Local cocktails are 5euro each and they are not scared of the measures!
POol area is fine, of course there will be bits of much ect, this hotel had over 1000guests in 1 week, and tourists arent as respectful of the pool area as they coukd be, there are plentky of bins, just not many people used them. I sat and watched the cleaner clean the tiled area on a daily basis, doing small areas at a time which took him over 3 hours per area, he is very thorough. Staff collect empties throughout the day, and people nit picking are just being petty.
The entertainment team are absolutely fantastic. No one can fault them on effort! Laura, karen and ryan are fantastic as are the rest. So much energy, they must drink 40cans of redbull per day! Nothing was done half hearted. I did feel the shows provided could have done with a bit if a variatio n though, seem stuck on same songs night in night out but, kids loved it so we were quite happy to sit and watch them every night.
Limassol really doesnt have much to offer by means of entertainment. We went for a wander, and gave up whe we reached the 2nd beach, which aren't all that good. There is a tobacconist on the front (turn right out of hotel and right again at end of road) Which is definitely open at 6pm, but catching it open before or after is a battle and half lol you can take cigarettes and duty free from the airport on your way out (paphos airport). I would say limassol is not suitable for people with limited mobility. At all. Curbs are 6ft deep (well , so it felt lol) some shops had made an effort to put in ramps, at a 90degree angle and I am not joking about this. There are a lot of pot holes around the trees that are strategically placed in the middle of pavements. The hotel is disabled friendly thou , my partner is in a wheelchair and did not struggle around the hotel, and we honestly did not feel the need to go exploring, are needs were met within the hotel. I do think if we had stayed any longer the 7 days we would have been bored with the repetitiveness of it all.

I would just like to say thankyou to our new friends we made: neil and kirsty for entertaining our kids lol, jeff, macauley and morgan for some wonderful company (and saving our sunbeds haha) and to jason julie, chesca and louis for feeding pauk with blue lagoons lol! If you see this, get in touch!! Amy, paul, kacey and emmi x

1 thing, you will have a battle every morning for a sunbed unless you are a very early bird, which is all being well sa ving them if you intend to use them. I lost count of the amount of times that someone would reserve a bed, at 7am and not come to them until 5/6pm when the pool area was empty anyaay. Fellow holiday makers, be considerate of others!

Oo, 1 more tip, put the air con to 25degrees, and on one fan (it would never get down to 10degrees anyway) it is much less noiser this way, and room is always cool too
PlEase feel free to ask any questions if gou are considering this hotel as a holiday destination.

Room Tip: Pool view, junior suite!
