Just got back from a week here with my own husband and 6yo and six other family members. Read the reviews before I went and again am astounded by how picky some people can be on this site!
Arrived at 11pm and after a swift checkin was given a snack which was very welcome. Our room was much better than we imagined, large and very clean. The food is probably the best buffet style we've been to, good breakfasts with a decent full English, lunch and dinner were a mixture of Greek stews etc, salad galore but also nuggets and chips etc for those less adventurous.
Staff were on the whole very friendly. Entertainment was great, a magician who was really funny and some very talented acrobats plus other nights were the in house staff singing and dancing. Every night you also had bingo and kids disco which kept them quiet! Plus a film on late which was a nice touch. You had things in the day like aqua splash and water polo etc. in fact the entertainment team never seemed to leave! Thompson kids club was great.

The only niggle (now I'm getting picky) is you have to pay for the safe and tea and coffee in the room. Would much rather this was added to the price and just pay at the start.

All in all great family hotel with lots to do but limassol itself a little dull so if you want something to see you will have to get in a cab or bus.

Stayed here for a weeks all inclusive holiday with my 12 year old daughter.
Upon arrival 11pm sun evening greeted with drink at reception check in speedy & pleasant friendly staff. Porters came to take bags to room while we could go to dining room where selection drinks, sandwiches, crisps & fruit had been made available for us which I thought was great touch as other hotels don't always do this.
Got to room which was lovely but unfortunately on side where nags head karaoke was on - by 1am still going so I phoned reception & pleaded to be moved rooms as came away specifically to chill & relax explained that first thing in morn come to reception & would see if any rooms available to change. Long story short receptionist checked available rooms showed us one in corner that looks onto main pool - happily changed rooms.

Room was very clean spacious, beds comfy, great power shower, fridge in room, lovely 4 star hotel room with small balcony with tables & chairs.
Maid service 6 days a week just not on a Sunday.
Don't bother taking pool towels- can borrow from hotel which they charge €20 per towel to your room & upon returning account is cleared.
All inclusive was great - food always good choice in dining room, breakfast good variety - pancakes always great just one thing lacking - omelette person but sometimes you can't have it all. food hot & tasty, chefs walk around to check & food replenished regularly. Desserts good choice & helps expand waistline :)
Drinks in hotel great - bottles of water given.
Pool bar for drinks & icecream cones great. Mocha cafe bar serves choice of sandwiches, sausage rolls, cheese pasty, hot/cold drinks - good speedy service - just give room no for all inclusive. blond lady think name Zenna great customer service, by the end of the week didn't have to say my regular daily order - she'd just get it.
Staff throughout hotel hard working & friendly.
Entertainment - can't fault staff for effort wasn't to everyone's taste but at same time better than nothing. During day if you didn't want to get involved no pressure to, in evening bingo bit of fun & cash prize actually pretty decent.
Pool is great size pretty large never felt crowded like lazy river style - plenty sun beds & fixed parasols available around. Can use inflatables in pool which was fun, Separate adults pool on different side of hotel but didn't use it due to being on family hols.
Location of hotel not amazing couple souvenir shops nearby but came here for guaranteed good weather, to literally chill out, sunbathe, for a good swimming pool. get good nights
sleep & eat good food all of which happened, so in all fantastic.

The hotel itself is great, the rooms are big and airy, the pools are great and very well maintained.
Our first room was right by the stairwell and lifts, and he noise kept our son up so the hotel had no problem in moving us and upgrading the room.
The rooms were kept spotless, he staff were always polite and there was always activities on the go.
The family room was gorgeous, but overlooking the evening entertainment area, so some nights were noisy, but we were happy.
The ala carte was really nice and the barbecue was a meat lovers dream.
The food in the main restaurant was also really nice except the desserts were always the same.
The Thomson rep Hannah was brilliant, Our son absolutely had a ball at the kids club run by Thomson and the hotel entertainment team were really good as well.
The spa was good and the gym is really well equipped, not that I used it that much.

There isnt much to do around the hotel, so its great for a poolside holiday, there is a waterpark nearby and trips, but we just stayed close to the pool.

There are a lot of pubs & restaurants but most seem pretty empty
Overall it was a great experience and even the Russians were friendly enough.

I would go again and recommend it to others.

Oh they also did a couple of weddings too, which seemed to go really well.

JUST BEWARE THE TROUSER POLICY AT DINNER TIME OR YOU COULD END UP GOING INTO TOWN TO BUY SOME!! Nobody tells you about it until you get to the hotel.

Room Tip: Go pool side and family room, it was great. Our family room overlooked the enetertainment area and s...

I booked this hotel as a last minute deal online. We stayed for 7 nights. This was a really nice hotel. The rooms was modern and clean and more than big enough for the two of us. We had a nice view over looking the pool area. They were cleaned and made up every day, and we was not kept awake by any night time noise as it was very quiet. The pool area was really nice and the bar area very nice to take shelter from the sun. The breakfast and evening buffet was really good and offered lots of choices. As with all hotels of this nature it was a buffet, but couldnt complain as the food was really nice and always well stocked. One point to note is that it was often difficult to get ahold of the Thomson rep. (no slight on the hotel however) Overall a really nice hotel and an enjoyable stay. However I would not reccomend Limassol as a holiday location. Doesnt have the same holiday vibe as Paphos etc.The location surrounding the hotel is poor and very run down. The bus service to get any where is also poor. HAd a stand up argument with the bus driver. (He wasnt a very helpfull man) However it must be noted that the Hotel could not be faulted even if we wasnt very impressed with Limassol. Wasnt a nice holiday location however if you do wish to visit Limassol then this is a nice hotel to stay at.

Just back from 14nights this being our 6th year here. Still great staff, great food/good selection, great pool scene, rooms spacious and clean(ours had a great pool view from top floor.) A shout out to the following staff who made our stay great(in no particular order) Anthi(front of house),Katherine(public relations),Dimitri(bar Manager),Agnieszka(restaurant),Agnieszka(pool bar),Julian(pool bar),Marios(restaurant)and many more waitresses and bar staff too many to mention here! We will be returning soon and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone!
As has been said in other reviews the location is not the best but don't let that put you off! The old town and marina is a 15min bus ride away where you'll find the usual tourist shops and some good restaurants. There is a small public beach just across the main road and further along the there is a larger public beach.
If you venture out in a car then a visit to Troodos mountains is a must.

Room Tip: any top floor room with a pool view...we stayed in 2554.

just got back from a fortnights holiday at this hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. The food was lovely and the rooms were so comfortable. We,ve been visiting Cyprus for 25years and sorry to say Limassol has had its day .The tourist area is so quiet, the pubs are empty and restaurants are the same. When we walk down the main road all we can hear are Russian voices,an what a miserable race they are,you can smile and try to be friendly but you get no reaction at all.Maybe that's their way but we like to make friends.Kikis kebab tavern is still as excellent as ever,so relaxing and they can,t do enough to make your meal enjoyable.Maybe we'll try Protaras next time.

Room Tip: 2404 overlooking the pool and quiet.

I read some of these reviews and find it hard sometimes to believe that I have stayed at this hotel seven times.
If you are looking for the Dorchester, Royal Garden or The Mandarin Oriental - then do not come here. If you are looking for Michelin Star cooking - then this hotel is not for you. If you want a hotel that is so quiet you would hear the staffs faces cracking if they smiled and children are something that someone else has....the Oasis is definitely not for you.
But...if you want a good quality hotel with rooms that are serviced six days of the week by cleaners that sing while they work, (yes they have a day off Sunday, except for those that are getting rooms ready that have been vacated)...which is staffed from top to bottom with quality people who are very experienced, charming beyond belief and always willing to help whenever possible; the Oasis could well be for you.
If you want entertaining by people who work very hard - and do their very best to please everyone they meet aged from 2 - 82...they are here in numbers. (Ryan even thinks I can still play football!)
The food is as good, indeed better than many so-called top hotels I have stayed in. Varied daily menus cater for the most discerning palate, and some of the local meat dishes are just excellent as my shrinking trousers can confirm! All this and there is the added chance of the extra entertainment watching certain diners eat their own body-weight in melon.
Yes there are children - that do what children do when on holiday ...play, chase, shout, swim, splash, dance and laugh ....oh and sleep. I am sure some believe they should have been left at home, perhaps get a neighbour to pop in and feed and water them. Personally I cannot wait to take my grandson and watch him enjoy some of the splashing, dancing and laughing!
The surrounding areas are not much to look at, Elvis and Bill Hayley often turn up for a jamming session around midnight in the close-by Nags Head.
The beaches are not much to write home about - but the public, fine sand at Dasoudi Beach 15-20 minutes away is clean and safe for those want beach time.
Limassol is a good central location for getting a car and a map for 2-3 days and visiting Nicosia or Paphos on the well-signed motorways - or just exploring. But remember that the highway code does not apply to many Cypriot drivers!
The Atlantica Oasis of course has its faults - many of them minor and some caused by ourselves, the guests. But for me it is a comfortable shoe, where I feel relaxed and looked after from the moment I arrive to the moment I leave.
So the choice is yours, but like many, I shall be going back for more.

Room Tip: eat the melon as a starter....
