Reviewed 15 June 2012

my wife and I have just returned from a beautyful holiday from Cyprus - the hotel is situated directly at the beach, between Limassol' top Hotel Four Seasons and Amathus Beach, with own beach access. Nice poolside restaurants and bars. Very good kitchen and friendly, attentive staff.
We had a superior sea view room with great view. The only negative issue, is the very expensive WiFi-access (1 Hour 5 EUR, 1 day 15 EUR), which to our taste should be free for hotel guests.
There are restaurants nearby, which offer free WiFi for their guests drinking a cofee. Why should such service not apply for a top hotel ? We defintely will come back - loved it

i booked a room for 3 adults and we stayed there for 1 night. one of the beds was a sofa bed which was very uncomfortable.

the most annoying is that half of the hotel is renovated and the rooms are really nice and new with modern furniture and the rest (the left hand side of it - looking at the hotel's entrance) is old fashioned and seems that was not renovated for at least 20 years!. we stayed at the latter. the room was the deluxe twin inland view and as already mention, sleeping on the sofa-bed was not a pleasant experience. a small upgrade on the sofa-bed would cost the hotel half what we paid for our stay and i would be a pleasant returning customer....

Also, the arrangement of the hotel rooms is a bit weird since if you are staying on the first floor (which is actually -2 since reception is floor 3) and you need to go to the parking located at the first floor as well, you need to have a tour of the hotel since you need to go to floor 3, across the hotel and then back down to floor 1. This was not an issue for me but thought i should mention it if somebody has difficulties moving around a hotel.

the breakfast was adequate in terms of quantity of food and quality. the staff was polite and helpful.

for the amount of money paid I thought I was going to get a more descent stay, so the hotel is not really recommended

Breakfast service could be more attentive. The hotel does not offer free wifi. It charges a high price for that... And therefore in my opinion this hotel ranks lower than some cheap hotels I have stayed in on many continents. I need it for keeping in touch with people but refuse to pay 15 Euros extra per day.

My husband and I have just returned from our 10th stay at this hotel...does that not say enough. we previously stayed in a 5star...Not worth the money.... Med Beach is an excellent all rounder. Worth the little extra to get a superior sea view. Always clean, always obliging and helpful staff, breakfast is as good as we have experienced anywhere made extra special by the cheerful staff many who have been there for years.....a special mention for Elena and Andy at breakfast..........A lot of improvements have taken place over the last 5 years. 6years ago we felt it was starting to tire but they've pulled it back..... The rooms are left spotlessly clean every day.... The situation and its proximity to the beach..your choices of places to lie ...always plenty of beds...... the food during the day in the nautica rest ,are all excellent....I could go on and on....The Management team are often seen hands on around and about......they keep a keen eye on all that goes on, which is probably why the standard is so high......No where is perfect and sometimes there may be the odd blip , but always dealt with the best they can.... We'll be back.....

Room Tip: sea view rooms better or higher floors on inland as road can be noisy at night. 300 to 302 and400 to...

Upon arrival at the hotel, I had 3 pieces of luggage with me, and although I walked into the hotel clearly struggling with it, 2 of the concierges who were standing by the door did not even flinch to help me in the least, so I continued on on my own.

The room I was given on the ground floor looked ok on the inside and was fairly clean, although it was very noisy in the corridor. I had asked at the reception desk to be placed somewhere peaceful, but perhaps I was not understood by the person at the Check in desk.

On the Sunday morning I rushed to the breakfast area - I was told that breakfast ends at 10.30 and whilst I was there at 10.15, the lady making the omelettes was already picking up her things and taking off. At 10.30 precisely, I noticed that hotel staff was carrying most of the food away.

At checkout, although there were 4 people behind the reception desk, it took forever to serve 3 of us trying to check out at the same time. Overall experience, not good.

we ( 2 adults, 2 children) spent the last weekend at the Mediterranean. We had superior rooms with sea view which were spacious and very comfortable. All the hotel was clean . The breakfast marvelous the children were delighted. All hotel areas are very nice furnished. The best of all was the hotel stuff. So friendly and trying to help with everything.

Room Tip: prefer sea view because the hotel is near to a road

Been there for a couple of nights, reception, common use and outdoor areas are clean and nice to the eye, however the standard rooms we booked were just a little above average as regards to clenliness and comfort. A small spider was present on the carpet. Didn't like the feel of the beds which seem not to have been renewed for some years. Most important the bathroom has the same 20 year old equipment since built and you realise it's condition is not the best. Signs of dust on the equipment. Only 2 small bottles of shampoo in the bathroom and no liquid soap, just 2 pieces of hard soap is not even average.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and definetely on 4 star standards.

Overall satisfied since having paid a reduced than quoted price due to group arrangement. But if I had paid the normal price I wouldn't say it's value for money.

Room Tip: Avoid inland view rooms as they are on the road side and noisy
