I've just returned from a week at this hotel and had a fantastic time.

I stayed all inclusive but the hotel also offers B&B and half board options. The food was really good. Great selection and all well cooked and well presented. Definitely something for everyone to choose from. To be honest, I found it a bit difficult to choose because the selection was so vast.

The rooms were clean and spacious and had everything we could have needed.

The pools were clean and well maintained and a lifeguard was on duty all day to make sure that everyone was safe.

All the staff were all friendly and very helpful.

The daily entertainment was a bit cheesy but that's what you would expect. The entertainment staff work really hard putting on different shows every day and keeping everyone entertained.

The kids club was not very lively and did not entertain the kids much - it was more of a baby sitting service rather than a kids club. However the entertainment for the kids in the evening and by the poolside everyday was excellent (especially for young children).

This hotel is rated 4*and definitely deserves this rating. I stayed at another hotel in Rome last month which claimed to be 4* which didn't come anywhere near the standards of the Elias Beach Hotel.

There were 2 weddings at the hotel when we were there - I spoke to some of the wedding party who confirmed that everything had been perfect for their big day.

My only negative comment would be that there isn't really much close by if you fancy venturing out but as the hotel had everything we wanted, that was a very minor problem

I would definitely recommend this hotel and will try to go back there again if I go back to Cyprus.

After reading lots of reviews about this hotel we decided to book and added lots of extras onto the package, this was well worth it.
After being delayed on the plane for 1.5 hours we finally got moving and after 4.5 hours we arrived in Paphos, 40 mins later we arrived at the Elias Beach hotel around 11.50 at night, a long queue formed at the reception to book in, we decided to try the Mokka bar even though we had read that the bar closed at 11.00pm but to our surprise we were welcomed and given drinks of our choice, lager being the order of the day, they went down a treat, after a couple of pints we then booked in.
Our first impressions were impressive, the reception area was brilliant and the staff were friendly and helpful, this continued for the 10 night stay. The room was spacious and very clean with a large 6ft wide bed and a wonderful view overlooking the sea, a superior sea view room was a good choice.
Breakfast was amazing there was a large selection of food including sausages and bacon, you couldn't ask for a more varied choice.
Lunch was amazing too, hot and cold dishes again a wide variation of foods to suit every taste, a chef even came out to the pool and served hot snack food from a table for the kids, burgers, chicken nuggets, hot dogs and chips.
Dinner had theme nights which didn't really work as each theme night only had 1 or 2 dishes that represented that particular style but the food was delicious with a large variety of superb dishes of hot and cold food each night including beef, pork, chicken and fish.
There were a wide variety of drinks including a superb selection of cocktails in which we regularly indulged, wine with dinner and a cold lager when over heating, excellent drinks choice.
The hotel staff were excellent they were so patient and friendly with special commendations to the room staff and the Mokka bar girls who could not have done anymore for you even if you had tipped them every time they came to your table, very professional with a homely manner
Staff in the hotel shop must have been trained in Antarctica they had a frigid face with an impatient manner this extended to one of towel girls who just sneered a lot, a few bad apples do not spoil the barrel.
The hotel is situated on the out skirts of Limassol but a regular bus service takes you into the centre where you can walk around or get a bus further afield. Beware if travelling to Nicosia, Larnaca or Pathos as the hotel travel information states that these buses will stop and pick you up opposite the St Raphael hotel which is just a short walk from this hotel but after waiting 2 days in a row these busses just sailed on past. I travelled into Limassol and successfully caught the said bus (Nicosia) outside Debenhams.
After travelling many times on the bus it became apparent that places I wanted to see were difficult to get to unless you hired a taxi which were quite expensive, my advise would be to take your driving licence and hire a car for a couple of days and see the sights.
The entertainment in the hotel could have been better, the venue was superb with fantastic audio and visual effects, the only downside was the lack of professional acts, the ones they had were great but then we had Mr Elias one night and Mrs Elias another night, puerile drivel from the early Butlins era not from a 4* + hotel, this was repeated each week which if staying over a week became repetitive.
My holiday was great and I may have had some negative notes in this despatch but this would not put me off from going again, i never saw anybody drunk, no sports songs, no bad language and lots of nice people, a great place for a family holiday or a wedding.
The beach is nice, the pool is great and the restaurants in the hotel were excellent.
I think a few improvements would easily make this a 5* hotel but then i suppose the price would increase and it would be out of my reach, great place at a reasonable price worth the 4.5 hour flight..
One last thing which really struck home were the wonderful hotel staff ( with the few exceptions), they really were good and couldn't be more helpful, Kanika have got this bang on.

Room Tip: a superior sea view as a minimum

Excellent staff service, spotless rooms and grounds, very good renovations in the rooms and outside, very rich breakfast. We spend a relaxing weekend there, and would be happy to stay more! Located on one of the best beaches in Limassol (blue flag). A very well-organised hotel! We will definitely return!!

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are worth the extra money!

Went to Elias beach hotel for my son's wedding in August, The staff were great, very attentive and friendly; in fact I have never seen staff work has hard to please their guests.
The hotel, pools and the grounds are kept extremely clean, food was exceptional and varied, loved the salads and fruit plenty of it, although I saw a lot of greedy people piling their plates only to leave half of it, I hate waste and this food was too delicious to be thrown away.
The only criticism I have about the hotel was the air conditioning, it was basically "crap" there was no where to get away from the heat even in the dining area's and bars it was far too hot. Our room wasn't too bad if you left it on 24hrs but the cleaners always turned it off.
My son's and daughter-in-laws wedding was magical very romantic a beautiful setting ( pier) and again the staff could not do enough. It will be one of our wonderful memories for myself and all the 35 guests, everyone was crying. I would definitely recommend Elias Beach for a wedding venue or just for a holiday destination. Thanks to all the staff who looked after us all, we will definitely return.

Room Tip: All the rooms are clean so it doesn't really matter if you a see view or a mountain view/ car pa...

My wife and I took our one year old daughter to the Elias between 6-17 August and had a great holiday. I always book holidays only having completed considerable research on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed by this hotel.
The hotel highlights:
The grounds, rooms, restaurants, swimming pools, beach and all other areas are virtually immaculate at all times.
The food was as good as I have had in an all inclusive hotel and was always varied.
The procedures they have in place (I.e. for collecting towels and booking restaurants) were effective and fuss free.
Staff of any customer facing business are the biggest asset and this is certainly true at the Elias.
Virtually every staff member could not do enough to help with any request, all were incredibly polite, quick to respond to questions and requests did all they could to help. They simply loved our daughter and made a fuss over her without ever being intrusive. We were actually made to feel more like family than guests of this hotel, and all maintained a professional attitude at all times.
Although virtually all staff are first class, I would like to highlight the following staff for being particularly good towards us:
Niki - Head Receptionist
Evgenia - Guest Relations Manager
Paulina - Thomas Cook Rep
Maria and all other Restaurant Supervisors
Paris - Head of Entertainment
Isobella - Our room cleaner

Although the hotel was fully booked during our stay, it was never crowded.

Three things that I would address if I had the opportunity (and all three were raised with the hotel manager during 'Management Cocktails' that all guests are invited to):
1/ We felt the aircon could have been turned up a notch in areas of the hotel. For example it was very warm on some evenings in the restaurant. The air con in our room only just about got the room to a cool enough temperature (even though it was turned to high and to the coolest temperature)
2/ The many small birds (never intrusive when eating) do leave a some mess on the outside tables and chairs as they wait to see if any food is ever left over.
3/ I appreciate it is hot, but I would prefer if the dress code stipulated that men should not wear sleeveless tops in the restaurant. There is a dresscode in the restaurant but it is not enforced, which I'm not concerned about particularly, but feel the hotel should at least insist that men cover arm pits etc.

None of my three improvement points (and EVERY hotel has them) would ever detract from our stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody, and will recommend the hotel to people!
We don't tend to return to the same hotel twice as we like to try new places, but I would certainly come back to this one again.

Keep up the hard work a Elias Beach Hotel.

Room Tip: We requested a high floor and paid for a sea view and were not disappointed. I obviously cannot comm...

We stayed at the Elias at the end of July this year my husband and two nearly fifteen yr olds and truthfully wasn't sure to expect after reading various stories on sites like this .I was worried that as a wedding hotel we wouldnt get served at the bar, restaurant etc and would have to queue and be made to feel less important than wedding parties and their guests, Rubbish !! We felt looked after from the moment we arrived to the end ,were never without cocktails, drinks etc and we had the best holiday in a long long time .The Kids were never bored, especially with the beach on our doorstep and entertainment throughout the day and eve which was not at all intrusive, the reps worked tirelessly and a big thanks to them for helping to make our holiday fantastic .It wasn't one of the most inexpensive holidays we have ever had ! but you get what you pay for . The food was lovely The staff extremely friendly ,long and short of it didn't want to come home and we would all go back in a second .Thank you Elias

Room Tip: Sea view worth the extra money

I stayed here from 4th august to 18th august and couldnt wait to share my experience as i had a fantastic time here. Firstly walking into the hotel i felt special as the foyer/reception area was beautiful. We were given our room key cards and made our way to our room. The room was nice but a little small for 3 adults but we were really happy with the hotel so we werent bothered. We had a mini bar which had drinks in it compliments of the hotel, some fruit sitting in a lovely plate and a message on the tv welcoming us to the hotel, again i felt special as they had went to great lengths to make us feel welcomed. The food for breakfast, lunch and dinner was absolutly delicious!!! The chefs dont get enough credit in the reviews. We had booked into the blue parwdise restaurant for 1 evening and absolutly loved it!!!! We were given delicious greek food and plenty of it! The view from this restaurant of the sea was beautiful!! The staff were all friendly and very helpful. We spent some time in the mokka bar and as soon as u sat down the staff were over to you instantly! One waitress in particular was very friendly and gave great service always cheery but sadly i didnt catch her name. Cocktails were included in the all inclusive package only exculding a few. The cocktails were brilliant strongly recomend. The frappes were delish but u had to pay for them which i was puzzled about as they were only €3.70 but we paid the price as they were really refreshing. The pool area was verry clean and cleaned every morning. No issues getting a sunbed. I would ignore any negative reviews as these people are obviously fussy. There are weddings taking place nearly everyday and they are beautiful to watch. The entertainment in the evening is good the girls have quizzes and shows to keep u occupied as well as activities during the day like aqua aerobics, water polo, beach volleyball etc. I would definately return to this hotel in the future as its the best all inclusive hotel i have ever been to. May i mention our chambermaid gina was brilliant! We stayed in room 204 and our room was very clean everyday! And wen we left my dad accidently left his medication in the fridge and gina came down to reception to us and gave my dad his medicine. Thank u gina for looking after our room and hopefully this will get bak to you :-). Xxxxx
