We have just got back from staying in the Elias Hotel , we went for my sons wedding and I can honestly say the staff make this hotel they are all very friendly always willing to go out of the way for you to make sure you are happy with every thing nothing was to much trouble.
All the staff in the restaurant are just so good when you think of the long hours they work they are still willing to help and keep a smile on there faces the service I found was very good.
The rooms are very clean and big the rooms are cleaned Dailey if you had any problems they were sorted straight away.
On the day of my sons wedding they were all just Great really making sure that the day goes well and every one is happy, I would recommend this to anyone , when I checked the trip adviser to see what other people had put I read one and it said weddings every day, could not get any sleep music to loud, well I can tell you we had our room very close to where the weddings took place I can honestly say no loud music kept me awake, you can hear the music if you are sitting on your balcony but to be honest who goes to bed with there balcony doors open???
This hotel is very clean and well kept , the food was good and loads of it , the pool was clean no bits in the pool at any time.
The bar staff were great .
I would recommend this hotel to anyone not just for people wanting to get married it really is a good hotel to have a great holiday as well.

Update on Mr JD Rapp review although we had a great time the hotel experience was very was. very much to be desired. The hotel does as previous reviews cater primarily to wedding parties.
Also when we left a glass case which contained the keys for our suit cases they despite our offer to pay for express postage were "Too Busy to post them ".
Food was average although pastry chef is excellent as is Anna at pool bar.
Overall very good but room for improvement

Recently stayed at this beautiful hotel in May for 1 week all inclusive, reason for travel was attending a wedding. Hotel was lovely and clean staff were super friendly and went above and beyond nothing was too much for them. Food was amazing from breakfast right through until dinner only slight thing I would say is that the only thing you had to eat between meals were sandwiches from the pool bar which were not anything special but they did offer ice cream so kids will be happy. All inclusive drinks were lovely plenty to choose from. Kanika all stars (entertainment team) were the nicest people in the world offered excellent activities during the day and night for all ages. They put on amazing shows in the evening. Would defiantly be visiting again in the near future. Thank you everyone at Elias beach

We stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks to attend a wedding and were blown away, not only by the hotel itself but by the service. Each and every member of staff were extremely helpful and always greeted us with a friendly smile and courteous nature. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable with there being enough variety in the food and restaurants to ensure even the most fussy of eaters will find something to satisfy.

Perhaps the only draw back is the location, as there is not alot going on immediately outside the hotel and Limassol being a short bus journey away. However on-site, there is more than enough to keep kids (young and old) entertained with multiple pools, tennis, squash and volleyball all available.

A special mention must go to the Kanika All Stars who helped ensure that all the guests are always entertained, either through a variety of sports and activities during the day or by putting on some fantastic entertainment at night. The All Stars ensured that even the most restless of big kids can be kept busy all day and late into the night with their infectious enthusiasm and positive attitudes always leaving a smile on the face.

Overall, I would definitely go back to Elias Beach and will be recommending to friends and family.

This is by far one of the greatest hotels ever stayed in for luxury and service. You are waited on hand and foot and the staff are all very helpful and cheerful. The pools are a good size but we spent most of our time down on the beach as there was more of a breeze and more activities to do. If you could pick this hotel up and place it somewhere else then this would be the most amazing place to stay ever. The only downfall is where it is located as there is not much to do at all but if you are just going to relax then this is perfect! The only place to walk out from the hotel is a little shop for your gifts further up the road and there is a lovely little English Café also. We hired a car and drove into paphos which was also a lovely place to relax with lots of bars and restraunts. Would highly recommend the A la Carte Japanese restraunt it was perfection even if you aren't into your sushi or noodles there is chicken and duck also to choose from. All in all would love to return to this hotel if Limassol itself picked up with life. There is a lot of Russian population here but this doesn't dampen the hotel. Big Shout out to the manager of the Japanese restraunt and also NIKOLAS the waiter / drink server. He was the most pleasant person there non stop working.

We are a couple in our late 20s/early 30s who stayed at the Elias from 17th-25th may. We went with an open mind as last year our all inclusive seemed to cater more for older people who wanted a sedentary holiday and the entertainment was aimed at children. What a difference from last year! The Elias really pulls out all the stops in its evening entertainment with different entertainment from nine till eleven every night. After 11 there was a request disco most night, however you had to pay for these drinks and by about twelve most people had gone to bed. We don't have children but the hotel did have a separate children's entertainment program which finished earlier. There is also a daytime entertainment program with water aerobics, archery, volleyball darts and quizzes.

The hotel attracted a diverse range of people and ages and we made many friends on holiday. There were a lot of British guests and some of the entertainment team were also British. We also met people from Russia and from Germany. English was the main language spoken in the hotel and the staff spoke it to a high standard. There was a pool bar open until six, and also an indoor bar separate from the entertainment venue. The staff in the indoor bar were very friendly and offered table service. The range of drinks in the all inclusive was good and included a lot of different cocktails.

The bed in the superior room was a good size and had a comfortable firm mattress. Like all the rooms we had a balcony which was handy for me as a smoker. The hotel is right on the beach and luckily our room faced it. The cleaners did an excellent job. There were bottles of water in the room when we arrived, but thereafter you had to purchase your own.

The breakfast was fantastic and the lunch and dinner were good too. The dinner menu varied every day. There could have perhaps been more choice at lunch time though. The snacks at the poolside bar were basic and prepacked. In the all inclusive you could book both the Japanese restaurant and Cypriot taverna once each week. These offered set meals, but the quality of the food was really excellent. The taverna was particularly special as it is located next to the beach and the background music was romantic. The restaurants could be crowded and service slow but what can you expect. The Elias still gives good value for money.

The setting is beautiful with a yellow sandy beach, lots of trees, three swimming pools and the indoor bar having glass doors leading onto a balcony which looks over the pools and towards the sea. We were a little disappointed with Limassol itself. The busses there were cheap and frequent but there was not much to see apart from shops, bars and restaurants. The Elias hotel has one of the best beaches in Limassol and there is plenty to do there. Of course you can go on excursions or hire a car. We spent most of our holiday in the hotel. I would love to go back.

We stayed for a week to attend a gorgeous wedding. Unlike any other hotel I have stayed at, every member of staff we encountered was friendly and very professional. I believe that is partly due to excellent training but mostly to the lovely nature of the Cypriot people. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a Superior room which had a huge double bed, tea & coffee making facilities, plenty hanging space and about 14 hangers, free safe, fridge with 2 bottles of water, 1 cola and 1 sprite, en suite with a good shower over the bath and the usual toiletries, sliding doors to a separate lounge with second TV, and a balcony overlooking the pool and the sea which had the sun all afternoon. Ironing is not allowed in the rooms for safety reasons so they kindly provide an ironing room.

We were a little apprehensive about being AI (we booked the same package as the rest of the wedding party) having read negative reports on other AI hotels and seen how AI guests have behaved when we have been staying in other hotels on half board. However, we could not have received better service. The buffets in Favours restaurant at breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious with good variety of fresh seasonal food. I have a food allergy and the cooks kindly offered to make food especially for me but that was never necessary as I had plenty options to choose from including really tender meat, fresh fish and there was always lots of fresh salads and fruit. My husband enjoyed the soups and I loved every dessert I tried - which was possibly all of them! The Mokka Bar served hot, cold and alcoholic drinks. Wines were ok (you pay for fine wines) but our favourite was the quadruple measures of Cyprus brandy with yummy hot chocolate. The younger element in our party seemed to enjoy the cocktails. Ice cream, sandwiches and drinks were served by the pool.

The wedding was handled expertly making it a wonderful, memorable day for the couple and all their guests. The reception was held in the Blue Paradise restaurant which serves wonderful Cypriot food. We enjoyed it so much that we booked to go on our last night and although the meze was less abundant than for the wedding it was still delicious and very filling and the waiters were all charming.

There is a bus stop just outside the hotel and the number 30 arrives every 15 minutes to go to the old Limassol port which takes about 30 to 40 minutes or on to a brand new shopping mall which takes about 40 to 50 minutes. You pay 1.5 Euros however far you go on that route or you can buy a day ticket for 5 Euros if you want to get on and off a few times to explore a bit more. There are also buses to Paphos and Larnaca but we didn't try them.

I did not want to leave at the end of our week. The Elias Beach is the best hotel we have stayed in - we have previously stayed in some 5* hotels. I would highly recommend it and hope to return some time in the future.

Room Tip: Superior rooms have sea views - we were delighted with room 321. There is minimal disturbance from...
